***********ROCKY CREEK HOMESTEAD****************
After battling Psoriasis for years, I discovered the power of quality food and its positive impact on my skin condition. This sparked my desire to raise my own quality food. So come along with our Family as we transition from urban living to small self sustaining family farm. Learn from both our successes and failures in hopes it may inspire others to try new things. We entered into this journey with no prior experience and hope to provide many laughs and learning experiences. We learned most of how to do what were doing from watching others and hope to be able to provide a similar learning opportunity to anyone else who may benefit from this. Thank you for coming along with us on this journey and we hope it is enjoyable for you and your family.

Stan, the homestead is starting to come back to life. It's always fun to see green starting to appear in our gardens. The daffodils are up and trees are budding in KY and so preparations are under way for our gardens this year. Like you, we're trying to decide what varieties of vegetables we're growing this year and then we'll get the cut flower gardens started. With everything being the first year at the new property we're not expecting much but it will still be fun to get started. Looking forward to hearing what you big project at the homestead is going to be. Hope all is well...continued prayers for the work transition still to come.

I just saw our first daffodils yesterday morning here in VA! Warm weather is definitely fast approaching. You may be surprised with your garden. My second year on this property is probably the best garden I’ve ever had. Weather hit just right and bugs stayed minimal. Y’all are going to do some awesome stuff on that property. Looking forward to hearing of your successes

I vote for some drone shots of the garden when it's in full bloom

Up in Maryland. Ours never stopped growing put in the ground after thanksgiving. They have a little bit of frost bite but looks really good now.

I ran 50 freedom rangers from October to February 20 in chicken tractors. Don’t be afraid of raising them into the winter gave me plenty of time to tend to being our “off season”

That’s awesome. I definitely liked processing in the fall versus the summer months, so pushing it a little later may work out well. Thanks for sharing
