I think Queen Elizabeth began to think differently after seeing the unhappiness of Princess Margaret, then the mess with Prince Charles and the consequences of interfering with people who were in love being forced to marry others, considered “appropriate.” 😢

I have said this from the very beginning when ppl blame Charles and Camilla for what happened to Diana. It’s not unlike arranged marriages that are still happening in India to this very day. The pressure Charles must have felt when he really wasn’t given much of a choice. How could his family have thought this was a good choice knowing that he in his 30’s marrying someone barely 20 was ever going to work? I always said that ppl’s anger should have been more directed at his parents / grandmother for pretty much making him or giving him no choice. I have first hand knowledge. My husband is Indian and his family pretty much disowned him for choosing me over an arranged marriage. I have some empathy for Charles actually because people can’t help loving who they love. I totally have empathy for Diana as well. I just think that people’s anger with Camilla for breaking up their marriage is misplaced and directed at the wrong person/people so I totally agree with what you’re saying about arranged marriage aspect. Also, it’s nice to see that Charle’s and Camilla finally found their way back to each other because it was always her… it was true love from the start💕!

It was snobby old Queen Mother who, along with Lady Fermoy, stuck her nose in and destroyed what could have been a happy and healthy marriage between Charles and Camilla but never Diana. Charles, loved his grandmother and thought she knew best. Poor boy. The old snob did not even want Elizabeth to marry Philip. Such a tragic old woman.

Absolutely..she was a spendthrift, meddlesome and arrogant anachronism. Forget her sickly, simpering smile and stylised hand wave..window dressing. The love-match partnership/marriage must prevail.

Charles married a girl with an ambitious family who couldn't wait to get their daughter into the royal family. William married a woman with a family who just wanted to know that he loved her.

Its absolutely disgraceful that people who don’t have a life love or family unity want to intrude into a family that are trying desperately to shield 3 children from the horrors of a mother with cancer. Catherine is not a piece of art or property that people demand to see and I’m sure with the grotesque filth spread across the streets of London at this moment she’s safer in her own environment. WHAT do you mean "a must more natural marriage for love than reasons..." IT WAS FOR LOVE 100% & completely! They had broken up & gotten back together... they both knew exactly what to expect from not only the press, from each other but also from the senior members of the BRF, the Palace & Parliament. William made certain that Catherine knew what to expect and how to deal with it all as well as giving her time to make the decision on whether or not she wanted that sort of life... she chose not only to marry William and accept ALL that it entails from the position, the other members of the BRF, the Palace, Parliament as well as the press. To Catherine's credit she's handled everything beautifully, with self-respect, grace & dignity. I'm not naive or wrongfully believe that Catherine is perfect but she's done & doing a spectacular job & will one day make a wonderful Queen Consort. Thankfully her sister in-law will never get that opportunity as she would utterly & completely damage the BRF that would take several generations to repair the damages.

Kates health, and the desperation to hide the details away from her children, is an excellent example of why children in a line of succession is far too antiquated for modernity… the heads of state have no business expecting the privacy of private citizens. ESPECIALLY to shield other heads of state from the reality of the current state of things; because they are children… you can’t make it make sense.

Diana's parents did not have a good marriage. Her father was abusive. And Catherine Parents had a wonderful marriage. Plus Catherine's parents adopted William. Because for a while there he was a lost..soul.

I think the blue sapphire for the engagement ring is unlucky. In Indian astrology, it is associated with cruel planet Saturn and has to be worn with absolute caution otherwise it brings misfortune. It brought abrupt end of a marriage and tragic death to its first owner Diana and now sitting on the finger of Catherine she’s facing the same consequence. I’d really suggest they get rid of the blue Sapphire ring.

The palace is creepy. Taking about this instead of being upfront about the extent of Kates health crisis. It’s odd that they scold people for wanting to know the truth and accuse anyone with questions of bullying Kate as an obvious decoy for displeasure with the way the palace is publishing lie after distraction after lie in never needing loops. I want the monarchy to end for no reason other than I’m tired of seeing women suffering the role Princess of Wales. It’s a death sentence of soul splintering servitude to the palace puppeteers. Kate and Megan love their children too much to allow the swords of Damocles to hang over their necks too. This is exactly why nobility has notoriously not been allowed to marry common born.
