I remember all of this in real time as it happened. The U. S. media even reported how upset that interview made William.

I can understand what William was feeling. Diana was hurt and enraged understandably but William was at too vulnerable a developmental stage to accept.

She refused help when she threw herself down the stairs when pregnant with William. She was mentally ill, refused to deal with it in a sensible manner with professional help. It would have helped her a lot.

Diana was very immature. I think William has had a great deal of 'weight' placed on him. She should've thought of the children before herself. That's what a mother does. Will go to any length to protect them even if it means putting herself last.

Make no mistake about it, Prince William loves his mother, and he shows his love for her by honoring her memory. I suggest everyone follow their future King's example if they truly care about him.

And yet Charles is the big bad wolf but at least he married camilla . While Diana went from one lover to an other . How did her boys feel about her 30 day fling with the drug taking playboy . The mother of the future king had been gone for nearly 27 years no one needs to or is trying to smear her.people have just moved on . The people who were involved are just living their lives as they need to ,you can't stay stuck in the past forever it won't bring her back. All Harry and Meghans constant mentioning of her and likening Meghan to her is making people take a closer look at and question Diana's actions all those years ago and what people are realising is that it was not as one-sided as it was made out to be . Harry is effectively causing his mother's reputation to be questioned.

Go watch the vintage read show reviewing the house keeper's diary, it's a much more balanced account of the turbulent marriage . Neither party were completely to blame nor innocent .

Diana was the first person to shine a light in how awful “the firm” was. How coldly they treated her, and how dismissive they were regarding her mental problems. She said the same thing Meghan said, but for some reason, the British public loved Diana for her honesty, and yet turned on Meghan. I can’t stand MM, but the hypocrisy is astounding.
