Well written. I could never have a child but I rescue animals. The dogs all no PAUSE means to sit quietly. When I'm done w the phone call or whatever, I say OK and the madness begins all over again 😂.

@@jennybean2820 I lost 4:to old age over 2023. It was 12 now I have 8 dogs, 1 cat, 1 parrot, 23 cows and 5 new baby calves and a grown pot bellied pig black someone sat out I guess. My father was looking at the calves and found the pig hanging out. All are rescued or sat out BC folks no I will take it. I have also had a elderly horse half blind. He passed in 2019. Thank you- 🌹 I love them all and I'd take way more but bits a lot for just one person to do and do it properly. Oh my goodness I left out a baby turtle turning 2 ( bird dropped it ). 🐢

I'm not sure 'normal' applies to anyone in the Royal family. I actually feel quite sorry for them. And I suspect that Kate thought long and hard about joining Royalty. It must be a dreadful thing, to have all that money, but ZERO private life. I admit, I've often thought it would be nice to be a penny or two behind them financially. But I wouldn't trade lives with them, not for any amount. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

I was a working mother. I didn't go to work outside the home until my children were in school. But, even I had a housekeeper who also helped with the children . She often did the school runs, and I find it hard to believe that Catherine does the school runs.

"Normal" 😂 she has households of servants, assistants, chefs, nannies, etc., etc., etc. As princess, do you really think she does her own laundry, dusting, vacuuming, dishes? All she has to do is tell the kiddies "no shouting!" 😅 Does she actually iron her hubbie's shirts? She's too oc cupied getting herself gussied up for elaborate events with expensive gowns, jewelry, and elaborate hairdos. And - she has hairdressers and other minions assisting her with that, too. Don't forget the army of handlers and chauffeurs ready and waiting. Sounds pretty normal to me.

Even if people like her have a different kind of stress, they still have all the advantages in life you can only dream of. She has coaches, consultants, assistants, etc., so she can become a proper princess.

I think being able to afford to pay your bills etc is the biggest stressor for normal people. She’s under a different type of stress but for the rest of us it’s about finances these days. I do think she’s great though.

@@melissasmith4684idk finances are tough, I can relate to that, but I’m “allowed” to lash out or become a recluse when stress levels peak because nobody gives a damn about what I do or say [to a certain extent]. She can’t. I’d imagine there are servants just one shout away. Could you imagine never being able to let the most vile curse words spill out of your mouth in frustration because you KNOW the servants will talk?

Of course their lives are not as easy some might think, but it's a massive relief never having to worry about finances. And whatever problems they might come across, there will always be the best possible ways to solve them. And in the end, there's a price to anything in life.

That’s a very realistic view and you’ve articulated it well. I try to say that very same thing and I come off judgmental or snarky. I hate that because it’s so far from where I’m really coming from or how I feel. I’m truly very giving and understanding. At the same time I question anything that I am unfamiliar with. Or perhaps take a second look at things that I might not know a lot about. I’ve always seen the royals for what they are, public servants. The life they live is probably amazing in a lot of ways and very demanding in others. I’ve run off a bit. Sorry. Lol. You put it better.

True yes she puts children to bed prepares them for school as she still wants to « you know » show them that they are « normal » ans have a mom…but she is not the one loading the dishes everyday. She might bake and cook (apparently William too) but unless they « fancy » some normal behaviour for the day they won’t have to do it. Just about balance for the super wealthy.

The huge difference here is she CHOOSES to do those few things that everyone else does; we do all those things and many more because we don’t have the privilege of choosing. Not relatable at all.

I just hope no mother is right now comparing her own motherhood with hers. Remember she only does everything she does when/if she wants to. A regular mother can’t just tune out at any moment she wants while her kids are awake; because you’re the cook, the maid, the butler, the chauffeur, the secretary, the Math tutor. So, if her motherhood seems perfect compared to yours, is because she has help you can’t pay.

@@CrackedSociety So you are telling me that she does all the dishes and cooks three meals every day? I am a peasant and I had full time help at home for the first two years of my first child. That didn’t make me less of a mother, but it damn well made things 100 times easier. Now if my back hurts, I can’t just call someone to come do my dishes, cook, and take my kids to places while I relax; she can and that makes a huge difference.

@@dumbphonemom I get what you mean but the way you made it sound was like she could snap her fingers and everything is done for her, like everything’s perfect and she doesn’t get involved. I know she does get help but I also believe she was very hands on. If you watch her in public with them, at events etc., when they misbehave, she doesn’t just tune them out and glance at the nanny to take them away. She reprimands them and after a little bit they listen to her. That shows that they respect her because she’s around for them, and if she needs some support, William is right there to help. She’s such a huge advocate for early childhood development, so for them to be present as parents, is very important to them. Even if she’s tired, I don’t think she leaves everything up to everyone else. She seems like the type that has a lot of energy, where everyone has to tell her relax. Ofc i would would love to have the help that she has once in awhile, that would be fabulous lol

Carlos tenía sus cultivos orgánicos y había formado una empresa que amaba y tuvo que delegar cuando su madre enfermó . No tengo nada en contra de ella, de hecho la admiro, pero hay que ser realistas. Cuántas mujeres no lo darían todo porque su trabajo fuera ponerse ropa de diseñador y tacos y sonreír todo el día, con cientos de empleados y chofer a su servicio? Incluso madres que quisieran pasar todo ese tiempo con sus hijos pero no pueden porque deben proveer para su familia por una razón u otra? No hay comparación.

She has a nanny as a resource, but she and Prince William do most of the work. They're very hands-on parents and it's extraordinary because that was unheard of in past generations. They didn’t hire a tutor and say “study hard, see ya in a few days!” She also drives the kids to school herself. They talk about how THEY put the kids to bed at night and the have quiet time to themselves. I wasn’t saying there is no nanny, even regular people like drs have nannies. But the way she is spoken about like she isn’t hands on.

Yes so relatable . I am also a normal mum who is a multimillionaire with a full time nanny ( who has no personal life) and chauffeur, maids, cleaners, gardener, nutritionist, chefs, home visits hairdresser, stylist, personal trainer. All my children are in private schools and have personal tutors

That's a LONG name. Very few people call her that because of that and the fact that they've known her as Kate Middleton longer than they've known her as the latter.

Funny how people who now hate harry and love William don't realise that William is just like his father because he was the golden child and Harry is just like his mother because he was the scapegoat.

the more they try to make kate relatable, the more obvious it is she's never done f- all with her life that wasn't chasing after a man.

Now that man is a keeper. Forget the fact he's a prince. He brings her a drink. Being a mom is tough in normal circumstances, but tackling being a royal has to be nerve-wracking from time to time.

Yes, it is quite obvious that she is a devoted Mother to her children. It has to be so hard with the family scrutinized in the public eye all the time. But her children are raised with tremendous privilege, which I think might be the bigger challenge for her and William. She has staff…. Nannies, housekeepers, hair stylists, etc……so when they say she is “chill” at home…. No wonder! Anyone can be chill when someone else dies the chores! This is NOT a normal household

I agree. Some mother can be more emotional or sensitive then others and some mothers understand that life happens and don’t sweat the small stuff. Everyone is different. I think all parents would understand if someone said they did not feel guilty for normal things just like they would understand if a parent said they did.

The Queen (and the Queen Mum!) Always had a cocktail at night before retiring. I believe the Queen enjoyed a G&T and the Queen Mum a Dubonnet! With her schedule and 3 kids I don't doubt that she needs a drink at the end of the day! One can have 100 Nannies, but at the end of the day, Mommy is still Mommy! And she knows, just like those of us, in her similar situation, that anyone says they don't have Mom guilt is lying, so why wouldn't she be honest about it! Any working mom knows..... And PS,- My husband makes ny morning coffee and puts it at my bedside every morning! No different than an evening cocktail!
