@@sohumgala2422 Nijat says Alireza was pretty much 2700 four years ago. If you look 4 years ago, Alireza beat Magnus Carlsen in the banter blitz cup. Basically, there is no way in the world that Levy, around 2300, could have even been competitive with Alireza. It's like you are a high school player and you said you beat Michael Jordan when he first came into the NBA. I dont think Nijat is saying Levy is lying, but maybe it was a bit more than 4 years ago.

To be able to prep for and play in the candidates in his condition is very hard and personally for me ... very sad to see. Just for once think that it is your once in a lifetime oppurtunity and it was met with such utter unluckiness, it's really heartbreaking, tournament ruining much. As if his leg's condition wasn't enough, FIDE surely would have gone above and beyond in inspecting him especially, because rumors about him were circulating in the air, which consequently must have caused even more distress, discomfort and psychological pain, maybe even physical pain to him. I wholeheartedly wish that he scores well in his first candidates tournament, and if not him, at least his subordinate player Salimova Nurgyul does, so we would see the smile on his face widen.
