That is a assumption it does not say they are angels but I can see your point who else can it be referring to. So where else in the Bible does it referrer to angels as sons of God.? Nephilim also can mean (apostates) Which line up with the speaker.

Yes angels are spirits but they can also change into humans as happened in Sodom & Gomorroh.Also, if Cain's & Seth's offspring "knew" each other, then why was their offspring giants, since humans with humans should=humans & NOT giants!

How would you explain the angels who appeared throughout the old testiment in the form of men?

So disclaimer; I am not claiming to know each interpretation is 100% correct. But I do see how it can be dangerous to say that you are 100% correct in your interpretation. Here we go, you said “mingle, marry, and mate”; I’m sure you understand that mingle and mating is different than marriage? Mingle and mating can happen outside of marriage. Also what about the genesis chapter where the men of sodom attempted to rape the angels in Lots home? Also, what about some truths to the book of Enoch? I am sure that there is some truth in those writings even though I do not consider them cannon. I am not saying I agree with either interpretation 100% but I want answers to these questions as well. I am open and still researching. May God show me the truth.

Also the god told Mary to cover her hair and face so the angel wouldn’t be tempted you forgot to mention

I’ve heard stories of natural born witches who had ancestors that were raped by or reproduced with angels. They tried to pray the magic away (it was a family of nuns some killed themselves because they thought their soul was stained by Satan) but their power didn’t come from dark celestial beings, they came from angels who had lapses of faith in the almighty and were sent to earth as a sort of detention or punishment.

I would like to point out, that angels (whether fallen or pure) have been in human form, Gabriel was described with human like features, so these beings can take human form, the possessor ones are the Nephilim.

Good video but some verses that are directly related to the topic were skipped like (GENESIS 19: 4-5) "But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from all parts of town. 5 They called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? You will notice that he does not respond casually to the comments which demonstrate with biblical references that it was indeed an unnatural coupling between Man and angelic beings. He intentionally avoids these comments, but only responds to comments that are along the lines of what he believes to be true.

Hi there How are you? I have to disagree on this as all instances of sons of God in the old testament refer to angels. Job 1 6, 2 1 & 38 7 & also i believe from scripture genesis 6 2 & 6 4 Also looking at genesis 6 it begins with And it came to pass, when *men began to multiply* (not sons of God) on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them. That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. There were giants in the earth in those days; (context in v2) and also after that, *when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.* (the nephelim were a direct result of two different things mixing which shouldnt have mixed - much like if a dog mated with a horse a new species would be created) Peter and jude also both speak about the angels who sinned and kept not their first estate being locked away until judgement, ( 2 peter 2 4 jude 1 6) they are clearly speaking of angels and its clear which angels didnt keep their first estate. Also Jesus didnt say the angels cant marry but that they dont, He also said that many make themselves eunichs (humans) for the kingdom of heavens sake matt 19 12, revelation 14 4 also emphasises this fact. Jesus is also described as a quickening spirit yet He is also flesh (the Word became flesh john 1 14) Jesus words are Spirit and life john 6 63. You also have the instances of the angels who ate with abraham on their way down to sodom and gomorrah as well as all the other physical appearances of angels which doesnt mean they are purely spirit and unable to procreate, we know that they dont, that doesnt mean they cant. We through Christ now become the sons of God and like the angels in heaven those found worthy of ressurectio wont marry at Christs return and reign. This certianly isnt negatively toned so please dont take it that way, i also find daniel 2 43 pretty interesting as to who the "they & themselves" are who mingle with the seed of men, its referring to the final kingdom before Jesus return, the they seem to be differently defined from the seed of men, they wont cleave to one another just as iron doesnt with clay, Jesus also said as in the days of noah so shall it be when He returns, if the days of noah were infact angels mixing with the seed of men and daniel has the final kingdom as two things mingling and mixing which arent natural to mix i do wonder if thats what Jesus is referring too. I want to make four comments in response that might give you some food for thought. 1. Nowhere in the Bible is anything said about angels being able to reproduce. To say that they can is therefore pure speculation. What the Bible does say, is that angels do not get married. And Biblically speaking, marriage and sexual intimacy are pretty much synonymous in God's eyes. In other words, Jesus seems to hint to the fact that angels cannot reproduce. 2. Just because angels can appear like men, does not mean they can reproduce. This would again be speculation. 3. Why would the Bible refer to the fallen angels as the "sons of God"? 1 John 3:8 tells us that those who sin are of the devil, not God. Only the righteous are referred to / and have the potential to become, the sons of God. (Also John 8:44 describes Satan being the father of sinners) It does not make sense at all that God would call the fallen angels the sons of God. 4. The prophecy in Daniel 2 is about the rise and fall of different kingdoms (Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, divided Rome / Europe). These expressions you refer to are talking about how Europe will never be united, despite the efforts made. The point that is brought forward again and again in chapter 6 is that man has become very evil. There is no mention at all about any other being (such as angels) in the entire chapter. Because they intermingled with the non-believers, and were led away from God to evil. This is what these chapters in Genesis point out, so that we can understand better why God needed to intervene with a worldwide flood. It is about humanity, not fallen angels. @@thechristianlife Hi there Sorry for the late reply. Im sorry but we will have to disagree on this matter. Some of the points you bring up as speculation on my part are also speculation on your part being that nowhere does it say they do or dont have reproductive organs, Jesus only says the angels dont marry not that they cant. Several times in the word people were commanded to abstain from sexual relations whilst close contact around God was going on, my thoughts are this is what the angels in heaven do. No way do too humans give birth too giants, this result was a direct result of the sons of God (all old testament instances being angels) taking for themselves the daughters of men, those offspring were obviously part human. Also the angels who left there first estate cant be satan and his fallen angels because the bible has those fallen angels locked away until final judgement, which we know at least satan from that group isnt. If the sons of God in genesis 6 are infact angels then is it another group of angels who at the time were sons of God yet through lust left their first estate and they are the ones locked away until final judgement. Im not convinced that humans marrying humans created giants. Also ive heard that about the 10 toes being europe but it doesnt make sense because whatever leader from whatever nation is still the seen of man, so what is the "they"/"themselves" that are mingling? It was what went on in noahs day which God destroyed the earth the first time round, if daniel is describing the same thing it directly precedes Jesus second coming I appreciate your time in responding but i think scripture gives us plenty to get the bigger picture on it and to what went on. So just to be clear, and I believe that you agree on this, the thoughts that angels can reproduce, but don't because they are in close contact with God, is speculation, rather than something that the Bible teaches. Since the Bible does not say much about angels and marriage, more than that statement of Jesus, it leaves room for these ideas. This is important to realise, because that means that the whole interpretation of Genesis 6 in this theory is literally based on something that the Bible does not say, but speculation. So you are taking a very big risk to be wrong, whilst we know that human beings can procreate, so this interpretation is based on things the Bible says 2. I am not fully sure if I understand your ideas about the Sons of God. So then again the original question stands, why would the Bible refer to the fallen angels as the "Sons of God"? Actually, even with your theory of two groups of fallen angels, they too were fallen as they gave themselves over to lust. So the same question still stands, why refer to them as the Sons of God, when they have been in rebellion and fell? 4. The mingling of the seed of man in the prophecy of Daniel refers to the fact that the royal families of Europe had intermarried their children so frequently that as the time of World War 1 they were all related to one another. Many have tried to put these nations together again; Charlemagne (AD 800), Napoleon Bonaparte (1800), Kaiser Wilhelm 1 (1914-1918), and Adolf Hitler (1939-1945). That is what it is talking about. @@thechristianlife I believe from an overall look at scripture its less speculative than saying angels have no reproductive organs and cannot marry, Jesus clearly said they dont marry not they cant, i understand what your saying but i dont think its speculation when we have a clear description of giants being born as a direct result of these sons of God and daughters of men unions, we also have the biblical account on several occasions of angels being very tall as well as many genuine testimonies of peoples encounters of Gods use of them in saving situations as well as 2 accounts of angels who at some point left their first estate and are locked away until judgement, we know this doesnt include satan, did all the angels who left with him get locked away but not him? The bible is clear that it was common for people/preists to refrain from sex when close/in service of God, yes that might be speculation as to weather thats what the angels do but my overall belief on this matter is based more on the biblical evidence that it was angels in noahs day and yes if that was so then another group left their first estate and purpose to take wives for themselves and as a result were locked away until judgement, you say that the bible only describes one fall of angels but if the angels peter and jude are speaking of are infact from noahs day (satan certianly isnt bound) then theres not just one but two. I guess we are both looking at the scriptures and forming what we believe its saying in different ways and we would both be guilty of speculation in regards to the angels actual ability to reproduce as niether is explicitly detailed one way or another in scripture, we can only look at what is there to get a bigger picture, scripture interprets itself, line upon line, precept upon precept. Many were blessed with the blessing of at age 2. The spirit of truth when it is written with the right hand bares witness to you of it being god because of the word is spirit and truth and it is wrotten, reading is not enough, I decided to write the new testament word for word verse for verses and when I finish the truth was revealed to me, the book of enoch is a blessing we receive as children of god. And Jesus is the Christ amen

And the Passage on Matthew about the resurrection "Marraige" and "Sex" is two different matter, the one we a re talking about in Gen 6:4 is about "reproduction" and not the original "Status" of an angel without any relationship to other angels... Do no disregard the history books like "The book of Enoch" it may not be canonize but it contain historical accounts

Unsure that this is asking, "Then what Num 13:13 refers to as Nephelim?" but that merely records an "evil report" by guys whom God rebuked: don't believe them. What makes you think "angels are definitely spirit"? What makes you think "'The book of Enoch'...contain historical accounts"? There is no such thing as “The” singular “Book of Enoch” since there are more than one and one of them claims that he wrote over 300 books. This is exactly what I needed today. I believe that one of the unique blessings that God bestowed to humans was the ability to reproduce. Angels don’t have that. They can’t procreate. When you alluded to John 1:12, It made so much sense.

This helps answer. A really great question I’ve had for sometime. However, something did pop into my mind having listened to this. It says angels are spirits. Well, we know fallen angels are demons without a body demons are capable of possessing people, therefore if they possessed a human body, couldn’t they didn’t have the ability to mate with humans?

Probably technically you could make that case, but in my opinion it is an unnecessary stretch. The only reason I think one would think of such an interpretation, is because you have heard about the whole fallen angel theory. So we don't want to force in the text what was never there, just because of some modern-day popular interpretation. In my opinion, as you have heard in the video, it makes perfect sense with the interpretation that it simply is contrasting God's people and those who oppose / are not of God. Another thought that came to mind when reading your comment is that I think very often demons are already leading people into sexual sin / immorality. They don't need to possess someone for that. And I highly doubt they would do that to get any sexual pleasure of it themselves 😅

I believe there is only one Godand I dont believe any religion is right or wrong, I believe God accepts you as long as you accept and have a strong relationship with him and put your trust in him, fear nothing but him

Angels don't marry because they are all males. Jesus did not say, ever, that they were incapable of sexual intercourse with human women. Example, Catholic priests don't marry. It's part of their calling but you'd be sorely mistaken to think they can't or won't have sex with a beautiful woman. Many have left the priesthood when they meet an irresistible woman. Most theologians choose to discard the position of fallen angels having sex with humans because one, it is hard to believe and two, it presents all sorts of problems making it difficult for them to answer. But that's not a valid reason to say it is untrue.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We discard the theory, because it is not what the text says. The context is really clear about what it means. Only because this 'fallen angels theory' is so popular, could people read the text in that way. I am confident that the vast majority would not have come to that conclusion based on just the passage, if they hadn't heard that teaching before.

Two points, and let's agree to disagree. That's not what the text says means nothing except that this is what you think, or interpret. There is no verse that says angels are male but they never appear in the feminine form. So by logic and inference. There is no verse that says Holy Trinity or the Rapture either.

They don't mate or marry in heaven right? But angels can come in form as human as they did many times in the bible. I don't believe it was line of seth but we're indeed some of the fallen angels that were locked up

Hi Oken, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Just because angels can take the form of a person, does not make the text say that it was angels who caused the giants. This is an incredible stretch that does not even fit the context of the story. Also, there is no Biblical back-up that tells us the "no marriage" rules for angels are different on Earth as in Heaven. This is an assumption without any ground. Plus, have you ever considered the implication of your last sentence? You are talking about fallen angels. Why do you believe that Moses (under inspiration of the Holy Spirit) would refer to the fallen angels as "Sons of God"? In the rest of the Bible they are called demons and unclean spirits. I would highly recommend you to dare to step back from what you believe and with an open mind consider the alternative. May God bless you Oken!

You are the only one telling the truth.i see gen 6 Very clear unlike many scholars. Thank you with all my heart. People are being lied to interpretation being incorrect and adding their own views. I am a lay person who has read the Bible many times cover to cover. I know by God's word that angels were not made to procreate. Only Adam was made from the clay of the early with procreation capability. Being flesh and blood. Eve was taken out of Adam. They knew one another and had children. Angels of light are not flesh and fallen angels would not marry and set up house keeping. They would not follow God's rule to marry anyone, they are evil. How can grown men that teach salvation through Jesus believe such an evil lie about the meaning of nephilim. They were people who totally left God and became enemies of God only doing violence and evil actions. It's so clear. Thank you for being one sane godly pastor speaking Truth.

Explain a demon that walks in the flesh, but is saved

As angels in heaven" ok well the angels that left their original habitat, their abode and sinned. They are not in haven. It's talking about we are going to be like the angels that are in heaven. If god not yet spared the angels that sinned found them in Everlasting chains until the great day of the Lord? And the angels that fell teaching men the secrets of Heaven, metal working= knives swords objects of War, astrology, painting of eyelids. But it's also in the Bible the sons of God shouted for joy during the creation of Earth. So I would guess those are Seth son's? Seth wasnt around yet. And also to mention that Seth and Cain are related . so how are the lines sprouting Nephilim AKA Giants. And God called these Giants evil spirits Abominations which in turn could be possibly demons we know it today " evil spirits" they died in the flood. And their evil still roams the Earth

At some point I hope to make a video about it, but for now the short answer is that these are the representatives of the unfallen worlds. Just like Adam was the representative of planet Earth, and was called the son of God, so it seems like there are more planets out there that each have a representative. Since Adam gave the dominion of Earth to Satan, as he submitted to him, Satan was able to join this meeting as the representative of Earth. Hope that helps :)

Haha catching up? :P Justin is based in Australia, so we only did this while we were there. We got the opportunity to work together with the conference of the church there to make these videos. The videographer at the time was really good!

Were the angels who went to Sodom spirit or flesh that the people were going to have their way with them? What DNA do the angels have? Guess I missed that. Not being mean. Just pointing out that this is not an easy question. Angels can take on physical bodies from what I understand. The risen Jesus (not an angel) could be touched, could eat and drink but yet pass through walls.

Half way thru there are so many holes in what he is saying. Angels do come in flesh form. For instance the two that came to rescue Lot. The one that wrestled with Jacob, the ones that Abraham fed. Also the passage that is quoted about angels give in marriage is speaking’s about marriage not sex. The reference was about a women that had been married several times and when she dies who will be her husband in heaven. The answer is no one. Also that passage Jesus says as you know it is written. So if Jesus said as it is written, Where is it written? It is written in the Book of Enoch. So since Jesus is quoting the book of Enoch should we consider it. I say yes. The book of Enoch elaborates more on many hidden things of the spiritual work and our physical world.

I ask because in Gen 1: 24 Then God said, “Let the earth produce living creatures according to their kind: livestock and crawling things and animals of the earth according to their kind”; and it was so. 25 God made the animals of the earth according to their kind, and the livestock according to their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good. All living creatures in these verses are mating according to their kind, just like humas do. So how can a spirit (fallen angel) mate with a human if they are not according to their kind. Let us use our Common Sense.

I have always said for years why would God make genderless beans you say it's because they are a spirit God is a spirit the Father in heaven is a spirit before Christ is even born Christ was considered God in the flesh or God with us but yet everyone has no issue to accept that the holy Spirit over came Mary and she became pregnant with Jesus who is the son of God and he has God and to be worshiped as God and we are to go through him for salvation but God being a spirit being able to do that even though angels are not considered all powerful like God how do you know because your video doesn't seem to back up anything that I've researched because I was told they were Angels I've been actually I've read the Bible and it proves a lot you can find a ton about this throughout the Bible people talk about the book of Enoch but you can find the stuff about these creatures in the holy Bible alone such as Amos Obadiah Isaiah Psalms and Genesis and numbers you claim that the nephilim where the sons of Seth or in that category it sounds like but how can a human being and with another human being created giant or create something that was considered a hybrid that even science today claims they have scientific evidence to prove there are hybrid human children that have exist even pre flood

I disagree. Read the book of Jude and you will see this is confirmed they were actual angels. They crossed breaded and that was a Big reason God sent the flood. We don’t have to pretend its not possible just to feel comfortable. This was a major problem and the wicked angels altered genetics and were also creating other abominations. Thank God for sending Jesus! He fixed it all.

This is flagrantly false. Connecting dots that cannot be connected. Look into the original Hebrew and you’ll find where you’re wrong. Gen 6:1 says “Adam”(men) began to reproduce. NOT SONS OF MEN. It’s referring to mankind, not an offspring of a certain tribe. Then It says the sons of “Elohim” saw the daughters of “Adam” to be beautiful. This isn’t some humans looking at other humans reproduce and finding them beautiful. This is the Angels. That’s why they produced such offspring. There’s no reason why human offspring would produce the nephelim. And as for the Jesus verse. He was saying that people in heaven won’t be getting married. But the angels came down to earth to marry.

What is Predestination? It's a preset destination. I love A.W. Tozer explanation. I believe Predestination begins before the word began and we see it in Genesis 1 : 31. It is fulfilled or reached in Revelation 21 : 3.

The book of Revelations is asking for the church to repent. The church is asking us in the natural spirit to repent because they know not what they do. I was a believer until I became a seeker. Someone may value something different from you and that doesn't make them right or wrong. Values and beliefs are adopted throughout one's life from the way they brought up, from the education they received, the experiences they had, and from culture they come from. The fact that you believe all values and beliefs outside your own are wrong is in itself hypocritical. No matter how good of a person you think you may be, you will always be a villain in someone else's story. I'm pretty sure throughout history humans in society have had values and beliefs that were "right" in the past, but are deemed wrong in today time. Hey brother I accepted this interpretation before but then there were a couple of things I got stuck on and just need clearing up.Please it would be alot of help because we all want to know truth and share with each other. 1.) Was in Genisis 19 v 10 and 16. Where the 2 angels of the Lord were as men and used physical touch in the time of sodom and gomorah 2.) Amen brother, yes, we want to seek, find and share truth! :) 1. Yes, angels can take human like form and make use of touch. We see examples of this in the Bible. But to say that they were mating with humans is taking that to a whole other level, as well as the fact that it still does not fit in the context of the giant-story. 2. Here Jude is giving three examples of God judging wickedness. First example is verse 5, those who came out of Egypt and believed not. Then verse 6, the angels that rebelled. And verse 7, Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude is not connecting the two stories of the fallen angels with Sodom and Gomorrah, but is simply listing a few examples to make a point. The letter of Jude is a warning against erring and choosing immorality and sin. Hope this cleared it up ;)

The other question one might also ask is why would an angel who is spirit eat physical food made by human hands. Do they have digestive organs? How does it happen?? It makes no sense digesting man-made food. The other question I ask myself is how do you manage to make a comparison of what is being discussed here and the fertilization of Mary???? One of the cases of which we go through a phase of obligatory sexual relationship, and the other of which it is not. So today, you can consider artificial insemination as the result of a sexual act??? Your parallel absolutely does not hold water. The artificial insemination that we do today, for example, in no way takes away the miracle that is the birth of Jesus. You are making a false argument there! Here is another interesting thing told to us in 1 Corinthians 10 This is why the woman, because of the angels, must have on her head a mark of the authority on which she depends. We find that there is a special connection between the angels and the woman who should cover herself for this purpose. Another question is to know why before this event (that of the sons of seth who went to the daughters of men) humanity had not had this problem of gigantism in its genome. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 I just learned why the words only begotten Son are so important. God created many sons; heavenly beings, before us earthly beings were created. Many of the sons of God have remained faithful to Him and serve God to this day. Other of the the sons of God rebelled against Him, Satan being a famous one. The rebellious sons of God were cast out and just like Satan, desire to be worshipped by earthly beings. This is why there are so many gods and religions in this world. Many people sadly have been deceived and worship the fallen sons of God. Others have bowed down to the faithful sons of God out of fear, but the faithful ones tell people not to worship them but God only. Yes, God created many beings referred to as the sons of God; but there is only one begotten Son, Jesus Christ who wasn't created but is the Creator. He is "the only begotten of the Father". John 1 It helps to know this being in a world full of so many beliefs, gods and religions. It is good to know that the sons of God are mere creations compared to the only begotten Son of God who created us and the other sons of God. So then we don't need to wonder which God is the true God. The Creator is above His creation.

The explanation that people gave about the angels were this Mathew 13:24-30 - parable of the sower that sows good seeds and the enemy comes in and sows tares ... tares being the fallen angels that satan has placed on earth to mate with the people of God so the purpose why God created us should be destroyed ..

The context can be seen from several perspectives. Your explanation can just be another speculation and based on a practical point of view not necessarily a spiritual one. If it is written in the Bible that angels were the son of God and that the son of God mated with the daughters of men then that’s what it can mean. Period. I mean there were fallen angels and these angels are tied to these story of procreating giants so I definitely believe the original context. Especially when some of Gods angels were mad at God for not being harsher in punishment towards Adam for not obeying God. His other sons (angels) were mad and jealous of that- of man (Adam) so they fell into temptation and when Cain and its descendants would fornicate and have orgies- the spirit (of angels) would take over the bodies of man and that’s how these woman got impregnated with giants and majority of them died actually too. Is written in an Ethiopian book. These whole story that was taken out from the New Testament. If anyone believes in spirits taken possession of the body of man then there’s no other explanation and doubt. There’s lots of evidence and scripture on this alone so the original scripture on this specific story can definitely be true.

They left there first estate and not to mention your modern bible is not the pure words of god....

The Nephilim are actually offspring of angels who have human mates provided by father. I come from a very long lineage of offspring of an offspring of an offspring, of angels

The versus given here are extremely weak. Genesis clearly says daughters of men (distinct from) sons of God bore them giants. That's as clear cut as you can get. Angels obviously can take human form as they did so several times in scripture. Also marrying or not marrying has nothing to do with reproducing so the verses given in this video are weak. Why does God have angels in prison then? What was the reason for the flood then? Just because people were being evil? People are evil now. No its because that was the only portion in time where such a sin of that magnitude was done. Angels corrupting the DNA of God's creation which were made in His image. There's no other way to look at it.

Thank you. You cleared the question od who were the sons of God in Geneses 6. I knew angels do not have a sex as we know it. I do not believe they procreate.
