Very excellent video thanks for posting. Viewers: please be advised that your replacement fan may have a different electrical fitting from the original fan that is on the truck. For this Freightliner sells on adapter pigtail.

Check the ground wire it’s as important as the power .There is probably no ground with the ignition on.

I have a cascadia that the motor works, but while blowing cold air it’s stops blowing and then blows back again by itself. I reset it on the controller and it works and later goes back to not blowing. Any advice that could help?

Could be the rear thermal expansion valve. If it’s blowing (even warm) then the blower motor is good

Damn man just bought a new fan and jumper harness but this was all I had to do. They don't even make those OEM blower motors anymore and the new one the bolt screw mounts don't line up to the old ones. What a fucking mess this has been. Also could not get the damn plug off so I know it was melted inside

Hello I have a freightliner Cascadia has no cold air in front but has cold air in rear , I did replaced EXPANSIVE VALVE on the front side, recharge the freon , but it did not change anything , front still has no cold air, and rear has really cold air . Do you think the new EXPANSIVE VALVE is not working or maybe something else cause front AC NOT cooling at all?If you have time please let me know I appreciate , thank you

Hi friend. Good observation. I was able to remove that Torx screw by forcing the Torx socket on to the screw head and pushing the plastic - molding slightly to the left while unscrewing the Torx screw. The good news here is that plastic, like steel has some flexibility so you can get away with this without breaking anything. Getting that screw back in as a little bit more tricky. I set it into place and then use needle-nose pliers to rotate the screw as far as it would go and then use the Torx socket same as above to finish tightening it
