I have a similar problem. Have replaced the blower motor once in my 13 cascadia. I thought it needed resistors this time, sounds like by the way you described it, the resistors are built in on these newer trucks. The older flds were nearly identical to a Dodge pickup.

I like the good work that you sharing with other owner operators, on my 2012 Cascadia, my AC is cold in the cab but warm on the sleeper!!, should I change the blower or the main 3 switch control panel?, 🙏👍

My blower motor runs constantly even with ignition off, is this the fix?

Why the a/c blower blow when the truck is off the only way to stop the blower from blowing the fuse has to be removed

The blower motor resistor is a different part, it is used for fan speed control. The fan speed switch is a switch used to select fan speed, off, 1, 2, 3, 4 fan speed, the resister (package) has resisters of different values to provide voltage dividers to drop the 12 v to a lower voltage for different fan speeds. I.e. lower voltage lower fan speed. My Freightliner Cascadia needs one. I had to replace the one in my Ford F150 a few years back because I had no fan speed control, just off and high. So quit calling the blower motor a resistor motor. Have you been educated?
