Thanks for this video. My cab blower wasn't working. I pulled it, cleaned the circuit board and the electrical connections. Plugged it back in and all is working. If I ever have to replace it, I know it's a very simple job, thanks to your video!

I thought my blower went out, I bought a new one and after taking the old one out, I found out it was just the plug because the fan worked good. All I did was put a few strands of thin copper wires into the female end, reinstalled the plug and it still works fine after 2 years. I also did the same thing to the headlight plugs, because my headlight would go out after hitting bumps in the road. No pigtails needed...lol 2014 Cascadia dd15. Love your videos, you've taught me a.lot. Thank you! PS I owe you..will be hitting you up soon.$$

Yes. One of the pins on the connector was faulty. I cleaned it with WD40 and blew it with air. WORKING EXCELLENT.

Either the wires connection or you need to replace it. I had that problem with mines. It was the fan!under the dashboard on my cascadia.

It could be a bad expansion valve or HVAC vent.

+shyeem63 Yes, If you don't have a A/C machine. The big hose is the vacuum side The small hose is the pressure side If you buy one of those A/C bottle that you can buy at any Auto parts store you can just hook it to the big hose and have the engine running with the A/C on to transfer all the gas from the bottle to the A/C system.

That is weird. That can be caused by a broken exhaust bellow

Hey my hardness that plugs into the motor has 12v from the center, a good ground and 12v. The side pins have 5v and variable voltage. I’ve replace the blower but still has an issue, any ideas?

Probably the ground or the voltage is not strong enough under load

Check the fuses

My ac is like I can feel the fan speed. But only a litter air from the vent . And I can see water leaking from the blower onto the floor. One time I try to kick the blower area. And some ice jump out from the vent.. any ideas? Please help

Dongyang Lee it’s a month old question but what the heck. It could be you are low on Freon or your eva valve isn’t functioning properly.

Yes, you sam cab is bad

If you don't have the fancy machine how do you tell how much air is in the system? And how can you tell you haven't added past the maximum allowed? This is for a 2010 Peterbilt.

+A Smith There is now way to know the amount of freon in the system without a a/c machine but you can tell if the system have Freon by touching the a/c lines ( the big from the cab to the compressor has to be cold while the a/c compressor is working and the small from the compressor to the condenser has to be hot while the a/c compressor is working) If the a/c system is overfilled with freon the compressor will release it with the release valve located in the rear area of the compressor. To have the right amount of freon and add oil you have to use a a/c machine.

Open the hood, go to passenger side & climb up on steer tire.below the windshield in that well you see a triangular piece of plastic that say interior air filter. Take those 2 T-21-22 hex screws out, the reach your hand in & pull up & towards you on that lip inside the hole. You'll then see the filter in front if your face. Pretty easy. Hope that helped.

The resistor is integrated with the blower. Check the cab air filter. It cab be bad too.

Hey when I turn my a/c on it blows high after like half an hour it stops blowing air when I turn it off and back on it will blow again for like an half an hour it will turn off again what do you think the problem is?

Esta localizada en la pared de fuejo al lado de el pasajero. Esta Detras de la caja negra donde va el filtro de aire de la cabina

What about if the sleeper blower not working but the fuses are good.

Francisco Amaya mira mi motor se apagava y luego prendia ya sele puso el motor hoy pero le quitamos el hvac relay y sigue funcionando segun me dijo alguien que el relay esta adrentro del tablero,no se si sea cierto?

Hola Francisco, yo tengo un 2011 cascadia y al prender el aire prendia , pero un ratito y luego se apagaba, lo destape ahi enfrente y resulta que los cables de la plug chica, la de 2 alambres que esta antes de la que se conecta al motor blower se calentaban demasiado, casi a derretir, y ya casi habia derretido la plug de los dos alambres. Yo corte las dos cabezas de la plug y conecte los dos alambres directos, siempre dejando la plug que se conecta al blower Funciona bien y ya no se apaga, pero igual uno de los alambres, el negro para ser exacto, siempre se calienta demasiado, no se aguanta agarrarlo ni por segundos. Mi pregunta es : Es normal que se caliente o Sera problema del blower motor resistor, que por sierto viene ahi todo junto, y no creo que se pueda reemplazar solo el resistor Osea como quien dice nesecito comprar un nuevo blower motor completo? Espero me ayudes y yo sabre compensarte ok Gracias

Lástima no ver el video en español,lo que medio le entiendo y lo sé es que a la pacha del flower llega una corriente de doce voltios y una negativa que son los cables más gruesos y a los lados llega un voltaje no superior a 1.5 voltios puede disminuir de acuerdo al mando.no conozco el primero que repare esas tarjetas que van encima del ventilador de calefacción

+Ed Edo The sleeper controller could be bad or something is not cutting the power to the bunk could be a bad relay or miscommunication between the front controller or the rear controller.

Easy way. Is air blowing out the vent.
