    @@iambiggus I mean here's the thing, I'm a pretty firm believer in God and all, and I respect other people's ideas and I love his humour. But at some point it kinda rubbed me the wrong way you know, I know its comedy and theres dark, edgy and messed up humour but in a way it felt wrong to be amused by this. That's just me. As for "the painful truth" you mentioned, I think bill made some pretty good references to how people handle the way they think about god like that analogy of making a "bad" car and burning it. Like yea, you can think that but theres also that free will for people to cling on to for better decisions in life, I go to church to listen to "stories" and I actually "pray" for god to exist". I know I just contradicted myself since I say I'm a firm believer but its complicated atm. But I think people tend to forget that yes God made us in his image and that they forget that theres evil in the world, I belive that all evil tempts us with greed and selfishness in life like the prostitutes and other stuff he mentioned. I hope I dont come off as one of the "victim or ranting" religious people you seem to come across. I hope you can understand and respect my opinion.🤝

  • @iambiggus

    @iambiggus

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@richardcastillo9331 I will respect you as a person who has an opinion, but respect the opinion itself? Why? Your opinion is extremely insulting to people who use logic, common sense, and critical thinking. It takes absolutely zero effort (or evidence) to have 'faith'. The VAST majority of the time you just need to be born into a family/society that already believes. Just like you did. So sorry, if you believe in god or religion, you believe in some extremely silly shit. Requesting people respect you for that is beyond insulting. I'm not just picking on religion, I have the same level of 'respect' for a person who is old enough to know better but still believes in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Leprechauns, etc etc. So yes, I will respect the individual, and that everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but not all opinions are created equal.

    I think you (as the translator) missed why it is humorous that Scientology's founder's name is "Ron." It's not that it sounds like "wrong," it's that the name is very simple, familiar, "casual," perhaps more easily associated mentally with a middle-aged car mechanic than a spiritual luminary.

    KZread is banned in China though. Is it the 50 cent army or citizens using a VPN? I really hope China doesn't try to 1up Hitler. If China becomes the world leader, I want it to be because they are the best, not the biggest. I wouldn't mind following a country like Japan, and embracing nature like Satoyama. The world needs less cheap Chinese knockoffs, so I hope their recent interest in changing their reputation and investing in German technology pays off if we are doomed to bow to their dominance. Ideally we will soon embark on a symbiotic relationship with artificial intelligence that leads to mutual prospering of all life on Earth, before any war ensues. We are overdue for calamity and war though as humans, so there are no guarantees. And AI has a great chance of being corrupted or persuaded by humans before it becomes an anomaly. So we are on a path through dark woods, with a narrow chance for escape beyond the current perils we face as a civilization.

    what is it? you know the etymology of the word "english" or England? it's a german word, like olde english was german - the language of the angle and saxon etc people that moved to the island where London is now, so "eng" an adjective that means "narrow" (street, valley etc) or "tight" (corner or clothes), but used in relation to people "eng" means..... well think it means "narrow-minded":- the island people

    因為為了要營造所有一切都是祂的, 人類有這些、人類活著… 世間一切一切,都是託祂的福, 但要注意,邪惡的諸事不是喔! 惡跟祂毫無關聯, 邪惡的存在是種奧蹟…等等。 可是問題來了, 你的父母會叫你要時刻提醒自己, 你活著都是因為他們, 得到什麼都要感謝他們, 所以你的一切都是因為他們才有的, 所以你的都是他們的嗎😂? 實際上我是相信的, 但我選擇更大智慧的方向… 創造者…只負責創造… 命運的自由…才是奧蹟… 萬物前進與成長,不受神的控制… 因為這樣,才好玩, 才是一位有幽默感的高神會做的事, 而且… 祂才不需要離不開祂的父寶, 停止瘋狂渴求幫助的偏激行為, 好好提著愛與智慧邁步向前, 也許“神”們,在等我們人類呢。
