My son Dominik Pate was there. He´s the double German champion (left and right handed) in his weight class. He really enjoyed seeing you and having you in his corner when he fought against Ivan Kropcrina. I´m sure it´s always a joy for everyone when you´re able to find the time to be there. You´re strength and accomplishments are phenominal and so is everything you´ve done and continue to do for the sport. BTW, my son said that armwrestling against you feels like armwrestling a brick wall! lol...

I have never seen anyone put in as much effort as Devon in arm wrestling matches - when he is trying you can see it is all he can possibly muster - the stress the shaking the veins popping even from his noggin - that is impressive - most people will not try that hard. Very good engine locking - it's amazing - if others tried that hard it would shake the upper ranks apart.

Einerseits stimmt das zwar andererseits muss er generell noch um einiges stärker werden. Devon hat im Video erwähnt, dass Leos linker Arm stärker ist als sein rechter und hat diesen trotzdem mit Leichtigkeit unter Kontrolle gebracht. Devon trainiert seinen linken Arm seit 2 Jahren nicht mehr😅

Devon might not be real bulky but in his own way he still is a monster. He makes Leonidas look small here. Just frame wise. He's a giant standing there. I always think if you shrunk devon down to 6 feet and he was still 270.. he'd look massive.

Ligaments and tendons do not contract. You still need pulling strength from the muscles. The main reason why gym bros do not excel in armwrestling is that even if their muscles are strong, their connective tissue hurts when pulling since it is not trained, therefore, they cannot have full strength.

Me and my buddies would arm wrestle a lot in middle/high school, I'm not sure what happened but freshman year if I had to strain really hard to put someone down or to keep from going down afterwards my arm was done, it would tremble and hurt so bad and I wouldn't even hardly be able to hold a glass of water, with that being said it's mind boggling to me that these guys are active in the sport for as long as they are. it's incredible
