This episode was apparently based on a real life encounter that Jon Cryer had with Lynda Carter, and Cryer thought it would make a great episode. Given that Jon Cryer and Alan Harper are practically one in the same, I can only imagine the encounter being an awkward one, but Lynda Carter clearly didn't mind as the two are on friendly terms. Also, as I've said before, unlike most fans, I like Jenny and her witty sexual euphemisms.

i once heard that they had a lot of people they could have used to replace charlie but they took the worst choice " hey let's put the guy who wasn't funny in his breakout roll and put him in as the main guy"
