That’s life at this point

Charlie and Jake seemed so natural in first couple of seasons, I can still rewatch it after all these years.

Jake believing he needed to explain what "provoked" means to Charlie was pretty damn funny.

I loved the last scene, its where he realises he loves the kid too.

When Jake hug Charlie and say that love him,and then when Charlie watching Jake how he going to his room,that is so loving moment,it is something that everybody has that kind of moment in their lifes. This show was perfect and i think that people will watch this show after 40 or 50 years from now,because this is timeless show,for all generations. Every episode is masterpiece. If i need to say with one word how is this show,it is easy,this show is FANTASTIC. Greetings to all fans from Serbia

So many shows do that. They take well defined characters and turn them into caricatures to - Hell, I don't know why they do it. They just like to go full-on exaggerated personalities, and ridiculous situations, and that ruins everything.

No matter what, Jake and Charlie were so natural, their bonding and chemistry was perfect. Charlie really loved Jake a lot!

Kid Jake was the best

This show the first few seasons was magic.

The banter Charlie and Jake had was brilliant. It was funny AF, yet it had cute and innocence AND it had Charlie's debauchery.

I'm not denying teenage Jake had his clever moments but little Jake was way funnier, cuter, wittier, smarter, smoother and had such a unique relationship with his uncle Charlie! They were like comrades, mentor and student, partners in crime! I think the point is, despite the fact that he had to grow up and challenge his adult attachment figures as a teenage divorce child in some way, younger Jake got so many more different facets out of Charlie. Later Charlie was just continuously annoyed by Jake, some weekends more, some weekends less!

@Fran Ra Ok that's definitely not what I meant! No one on earth would've bought or enjoyed a sweet innocent teenage boy, especially not in the constant presence of an oncle like Charlie ^^ 😆 However, I've never really seen the need to turn him 180° in the other direction, a lazy, farty, sulky dumbhead with zero charisma, altruism, intellect or coolness. That's just the cliché-ridden trope of any teenage boy in US TV and far from the round, original Jake from the first 4 seasons. The boy was already "challenging" around S3 but still frightfully clever in his own way. He definitely had street smarts and creativity, even charm (remember Charlie preparing him for his first party with girls?!). Bottom line, I think a teenage Jake that *acts* slow-witted and uninspired so nobody would expect anything of him and he can have things his way while actually ruling that crazy family without anybody noticing, would have been so much cooler!😀 That secret puppeteer also would've been the divorce child many of us wish we could have been. ... or something entirely different, just not the flat cliché-ridden lazy ass nightmare teenager Jake Harper turned out to be.

Didn't Charlie insult Chuck after being hella unprofessional? 🙄 Not saying that Show was great after Charlie left just saying that he insulted the creator and didn't even apologized. Chuck fired him mainly for his self respect I think.

The last part had me "awwwwhhhh" , hahaha Jake and Charlie are great duos too

Two and half men was the reason i found happiness and smile back again which I lost after I ended watching Friends.

When Jake said Goodnight uncle Charlie, I love you 😭😭😭 I really hope Charlie Sheen gets better, he was one of my favorite comedians

I loved it when Alan would ask Jake if he did his homework or if he brought his books home and he's say well, answer me and Jake would say your not going to like the answer. Jake was a star when he was young.

I love watching this show, it's addicting to watch, it's so funny. Jake is cute when he's younger.

The younger version of Jake was great. The crackhead version sucked

I liked all of the seasons with Charlie but yeah. The first two seasons were sth really special. The humor was always there, but there were very touching scenes too. You could SEE the intentions of character development for Alan, Jake and Charlie. Sadly, the writers gave up on the show way before Charlie got fired.

I had two uncles like Charlie. I named them Sheen and Sheriff and they knew that i called them that.

First season was the best. It was fun in a unique way, Jake was smart and there were more emotional moments compared to crude humour that prevailed in later seasons. Charlie having doubts about his life after Jake and Alan moved in and Jake feeling bad for betraying Charlie's trust and feeding pigeons are emotional moments that rarely, if ever happened later on.
