People are better served to follow their gut - which gives momentum, use their heart - which gives right direction, finally use their head - which gives proper actions. Its a matter of determination and the desire to succeed. He worked with his wife, listened to her, respected her, loved her as she did him. They are a team. That's the team that wins. I was talking to a millionaire who went into motivational speaking and this is what he told me. People who become rich achieve it because they kept going after every failure. He said he got excited every time he failed because he just learned something. I looked at every failure as a learning experience and applied that to what he did next. One thing he did say and I can relate because I am one of them, he said people don't achieve their goals because they give up. They don't have the drive, the fire, the determination to do whatever it takes to achieve whatever they want to achieve.

Denzel is such a class act and knowledgeable man. When he speaks he always has my undivided attention because I learn something every time. He speaks using real life experience and never tries to be somebody that he is not. He commands respect for this reason. This world needs more people like him.

This is the first thing I watched after a difficult hip surgery amongst other things going on in my life right. The most arduous time in my life. …I prepared hard. No excuses. Powered through it all …owned the winter and powered through it all. This speech has helped like no other throughout this journey. Fall forward. A back up plan was never a option. Hard work WORKS. As I sit here in pain I realize I can’t be hurt. I made myself invincible. Pain is temporary. Discipline is the key to all life has to offer. As a musician this is the most important part of his speech. It's actually about the quality. I was successful at a young age while most my peers struggled and struggled and blamed and blamed. I noticed they spent more time practicing then I did. But they did not practice learning music. They just doodled around and played the same scales over and over again for hours. You realize President Obama was in a Catch 22. When Obama did dip into the racial divide, he was loudly criticized for it. Blacks saw him as too quiet and too soft, and the right pounced, saying he's criticizing the honor of police. The right also expanded that moment to foment rage that he was tilting the economy against them. The truth is now visible for all to see. There's no few bad apples, more like bad Orchards.
