Question I’m interested in getting an 8K receiver. If I’m using small satellite speakers like the Energy Take Classic or the klipsch Reference Theater pack which receiver should I get the 3700h 4700h or 6700h?

Hey.. the 6700 has a heights3/front wide terminal which suggests it support Front wide either or... How does the 4700 implement front wide speakers as it does not have front wide terminals...

I am hoping that is the camera sloped and not that your room looks like it has collapsed.

Don't know but if your tv can do 3d then use earc for sound only.

DHCP = Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (it gives your home network IP addresses) HDCP = High-Bandwith Digital Content Protection (this is the one you mean to say lol)

Geees! Word of advice, get your sea legs or gravol ready for that video in and out and in and out feeling dizzy breakfast going back up

I bought 4700h for my 7.2 setup for my small room but main reason I went with this unit is more power amp.

Mr JM I haven’t gotten external amp yet but thinking of it if i am going to run 11.2, I have SVS Ultra bookshelfs as main fronts, Svs Elevation, Svs Prime Center and Prime Satellite speakers.

@@Herofmine The AVR should be good to drive your 11 speaker to give you a reference level output without the need of external amplification. External amp dosent give you better sound, it gives you more power ... so you room would need to be HUGE ( multiple rows, big open space ) before needing external amplification.

Only have one zone, looking for 2.1hdmi support and Dolby atmost support. 3700H is a good choice ?

I got the 2020 AVR-S960H for my 7.2, anyone who need more for a 7.2 and under really need to explain me why they would need the 3700h, for the better audyssey ? Lol, the difference in power is minimal and even the AVR-S960H has more than enough to drive 89db sensivity speaker to crazy loud 95 decibel peak at the minus 10 level ( 7 speaker driven, after calibration ) so .... if you drive 7 speaker or less, just get the AVR-S960H.

I wish these prices were still good. Ugh.

I think it’s a shame you only cater for the higher end, no review of the X2700H shows this, some of us have a very limited budget and to me £500 is a hefty out lay, let alone £2,000 which will never happen. Just saying maybe some lower end reviews would be a Idea, I have the Sony X800 MkII, Panasonic UB820, UB900, the Denon 2600H, so I am kinda stuck when the jump up to the 3700H is nearly double.

I personally ordered the 2700h. I think they wouldn't recommend because of the no powered subwoofer ports and the lower version of audyssey. Also no IMAX enhanced which there is barely anything supporting that anyways. Also most decent speakers will have a 100w rms like my klipsh towers and I'm underpowered them by 5watts (oh no 😲) you won't see the 2700 being suggested by guys like this.

not true @justin vail. We offer the s950 and the denon 1600h often. we have options for everyone. We arent doing any thing tricky here. these are the models we had for a video We will do a video about the 2700 soon. They are hard to track down because of their price they are popular

Dreamedia Home Theater I’m stuck deciding between marantz 6015 or higher, denon 4700, and denon 3700. Thought 4700 would be my pick but people have said might as well get 3700 as if there isn’t much difference for the price. I’ve also heard maranta promoted over the 4700 but the rms output is lower. Do you have guidance on the best movie experience between these?
