    Looking back, everyone used to say "wow you are so calm and don't let things get to you". All that stuff internalised and start of TMS after the brain body overloaded. Love these success stories. I'm good.

    Thanks for this. Sounds like basically a classic Sarno book cure, from discovering Sarno to cured in a few weeks. Yes, losing or decreasing the "obsessive body monitoring" is a huge step and good to do (working on it!). Love the analogy of talking to your inner twin: "Dude the sooner you let go of trying to protect us the sooner we will feel great".

    We take the "identity" because we feel guilty about not being fully immersed in life.

    Awesome Denis. So happy to hear your journey. I loved how you and Dan went over the “myth of fragility”. We are made so strong and our bodies are incredibly resilient. Believe that and live that. That notion gives us freedom. Sarno was so spot on.

    So happy for you. It's amazing how the 'repressed' brain will try to sneak a "new" pain in. Am getting there with interrupting the pain with the thought "it's TMS", the gap is very short now. I'm also noticing how relationship issues etc impact on my "pain". I accept TMS as a "look at your life, acknowledge and make the changes you need to do, stop avoiding" cos if I don't, new sensations are rooting. That locked in emotional/anger stuff is like a fertilizer.

    Yes it is fertilizer as it flips the danger switch "on".

    Amazing interview! I'm having a day where my subconcious is yelling symptoms at me because I've been doing so much better recently! Was great to hear his success and his strong willpower. Very inspiring.

    It comes from having a deep knowledge and believe that TMS / PDP means you are not broken. TEACH the subconscious this fact and you can get well.

    It has alooot to do with the mind I know I had sciatica but when I don’t think about it and I don’t monitor the pain you have to get past that . Period. Chiros are good for feeling good but I’ve had times where hips pop out of place but it’s mental mental mental mental . Like Dr Sarno said he sooner you resume physical activity the sooner you get better but you have to Do his steps and think about what is mentally bothering you. Pain is a distraction to what is really is bothersome mentally in each person it’s a different thing for everyone..

    I'm finding people on the TMS road to recovery talk about times without pain (as does Dennis) so therefore for sure it's TMS. My pain is there when I'm upright, always. In the same area. It's been years. I did nothing to cause any injury. Can it still be TMS if pain is constantly there when I walk (and sometimes at night) ? Sarno said don't stop doing what you do... So as someone who loved to walk and hike, I simply can't now, due to pain. I fit the TMS profile totally, but can't seem to get on the TMS recovery road...

    Yes, constant pain definitely can be TMS. kzread.info/dash/bejne/goybs6iNnpywh9o.html I would recommend you go through the resources on my getting started page. Perceived danger causes pain. That's it. Making a decision that your body is perfectly fine is the starting point. The getting started page will help you make that determination. www.PainFreeYou.com/start

    Is it true that sitting should not cause pain With Tms back pain I have that fear of sitting but thinking logically, sitting should not cause any pain

    I sit in my office chair for 10-12 hours a day most days. I haven't had back pain in over a decade. Sitting is not harmful.

    The bit I can’t get is relaxing and not monitoring

  • @PainFreeYou

    @PainFreeYou

    It's a process. But it can only happen with clarity that TMS/Perceived danger pain/symptoms are the only cause of your symptoms. Try to allow for gradual improvements. Instead of not monitoring, monitor less. Instead of I'm unable to relax, try to relax more and more.

    all diseases and viruses are concepts and concepts aren't real. we are more powerful than we know. we live in a world of word magic, symbolism and deep hypnosis. Basically we are unconscious. Sorcery is real and we are under a spell. covid is part of this fear based hypnosis. best of luck to you and your journey. I honor where you are in your journey. the game is consciousness. we are going to evolve and return, or drift further into the abyss of unconsciousness.
