A fee weeks ago I had a big relapse. Same pain in the back I felt when TMS was at its highest. As much as I got a little demotivated, I did not stop amything. I lifted heavy weight as usual, went to the gym everyday, went to the office to work and it simply disappear. It is crazy how much this works. Every time I have even a small pain, I simply ignore it and continue with my day and it eventually disappears. As always thanks Dan and Vince for the content and the reassurance

These stories that go beyond back or skeletal pain are very helpful. As you said in the video… TMS has endless ways to present. Many of us have “uncommon” symptoms like dizziness or depression or IBS etc. Great to hear success from someone who had a myriad of non-standard symptoms

Thanks Vince, you articulate your journey so well, I think Steve Ozanich called TMS OCD of the body, I totally relate, that constant checking and hypervigilance. I like the super power idea - our bodies are like antennae that tell us when something is off. And I too am now OK about taking meds if needed, I dont beat myself up and focus on just taking good care of myself. I too am doing so much stronger and no longer freak out, Dan I think I am ready to do my success story, will be in touch soon x

My story was very similar to you with chronic migraines, OCD, and digestive issues versus back pain. It was so good to hear your journey and that its normal for it to come and go because we are human. I had a flareup and freaked out. I was not being kind to myself. Time to rewatch my Dan videos. Lots of love and support for everyone. Thank you❤❤

Ahhhh I love this! I watched a success story where the guy just got rid of his pain and never had it again and I held onto that idea that the only way I was successful was if it never came back and I’ll get frustrated and despair when it does. Now watching this I feel like I am successful because I can talk to my brain and calm myself to the point it disappears within a day or two. Maybe that’s why it’s been so persistent and keeps coming back in other areas because I keep thinking I’m not successful if it’s not gone entirely and I never feel it again

Thank you Vince you’ve shared valuable insight… I too have often wondered if those suffering from TMS have a greater insight into our bodies and therefore once we gain the insight and knowledge that is POWER! You are definitely a superhero sharing your story so much of it resonates -a great reminder to many that we truly can choose how to respond! Sometimes, I do forget & react habitually - yet I notice and bring myself back! Thank you again Dan this is so powerful it touches again on what does success look like!! It looks like this.. like Vince - being able to calmly respond with the knowledge this is an inevitable/ occasional /temporary setback- knowing this too will pass is such a different mindset to feeling beaten. I can’t thank you enough Dan you’ve changed my life xxx

So many parallels with my own story. I have the same findings in my MRI - they are called white matter hyperintensities and are completely normal in later life but drs. say are linked to migraines and MS if found when younger. I have had other drs tell me a portion of the population have these and that they are unimportant and normal abnormalities. Also, i have been diagnosed OCD w/ somatic preoccupation since teenage years and medicated (with poor control) since then. I ALSO had childhood stomach illness (in my case reoccurring pancreatitis) which i believe set me up for my struggles with TMS.

I have this too on mri . Two spots and they swear it’s not ms. I think it scared the life out of me. I got horrible ms symptoms after and have had them for almost a year. They just pushed for more mri testing of the spine for check for ms I never did it. Also a friend with ms told me she had spots they claimed was a headache spots but a year later she rechecked and it was ms . This kept me sooo scared . It’s so wild how it can keep going when you’re so scared

  • @liannevalle

@@toshuarussell4703 This is almost exactly the same as my story also. Had the same MRI findings - a tiny speck of white matter hyperintensities in my brain, and did alllll the tests for MS. I had 4 additional MRIs of the neck, spine, and lumbar region. All inconclusive and showed nothing. Naturally, I developed more MS-like symptoms at the same rate I was googling MS symptoms lol. But I would find articles where a patient diagnosed with MS showed huge lesions in their brain yet their only symptom was vision issues. And when performing autopsies on people, researchers discovered that some people with no symptoms actually had lesions in their brain/spine. I was like, there is no way that my tiny little white matter speck is causing this large array of symptoms. Everything points to TMS.
