You speak Christian jargon out of one corner of your mouth on Sunday or around your cliche, and spew venom out the other. Duplicitous snakes. Find me a church that doesn't disgrace the name it claims to represent and I'll consider hearing what they have to say. I'll never take a "Christian" seriously otherwise.

In 2012 I was almost murdered in my own home during a home invasion. I was asked to the ground and a gun was held to my head. I prepared myself to die in that moment. Im still here, the trigger was never pulled. I have struggled with that experience for a long time. This song has truly helped me get to a level of healing I did not think would be possible. Thank you Demon Hunter. I cannot thank you guys enough. Eternally grateful.

Hello! people can't see you too, what they see - is representation of you, your body, the very physical instrument of you, not you. Because spirit, and part of it, called soul, - are invisible like God. Nobody can read your mind, same with God's mind, unless you are born again and given Holy Spirit as paraclete to show you the mind of God, so that He would speak to you trough His word. It's a way of communication God has chosen to exercise our faith and for us to be in constant awe of His wisdom and glory, of Him being right all the time in everything. Christ found me 30 years ago, Im 56, and I see Him more and more through His word, and I see also tons of fools, as atheistic, and religious, if they try to play with God religion, the game He never plays with anyone.

Ive been listening to these guys from the first song they put out "Infected" and ive been listening to them ever since. Demon Hunter you guys may never see this comment but ive renewed my faith because of you and this song. The chorus literally has me wiping my eyes just trying to type this. Thank you for sharing your faith so us wandering souls can follow the sound of love and mercy back into Jesus' loving arms. When I become a Christian that was 2003, this band was one of my inspiration. Till now, loved listening to it's music. Metal with good message lyrics.

It is "boring" but what he is doing is just control.. he is able to belt out and come back to a happy mid range because it's easier to transition and it makes it a lot easier on you, physically wise.

I agree!

I’m 33 now… grew up in an evangelical household even when I didn’t want to. The melodic nu music I had with their second album saved me from a very strict household with getting something that appealed to me musically. Though I’m no longer a man of faith after a few deployments, I can’t help but come back to the melodies of their songs and this recent one sounds so good to the soul. I remember listening to “Not Ready to Die” and “My Heartstrings Come Undone” on CD driving myself to school every morning in my 2002 Ford Ranger right after it came out. Feels like yesterday.

October 15th 2019 was the first time I heard Demon Hunter . They are freaking awesome !!!

*Going door-to-door with a boombox. "Hello brother or sister, may I trouble you for a minute of your time to listen to the good sound of our Lord and Savior today"?

When I was 5 years old, I bled to death, and sat in the ER completely dead for about 1/2 hour - they even called the coroner to come get my body, but I remember my whole soul's journey, I was sent back alive, leaped off the table, and upon re-examination, I was found to be in better heath than most children my age. The doctors were completely astonished. I relate powerfully to this song. God put death away.

I just noticed he says “Death is on my side” in both this song and “Fear is not my guide” from Peace album. Awesome!

I love the flashing colors, it's so effective in a minimalist atmosphere. Really drives home the music and lyrics. I'm so pumped for these albums.

I love how heavy and emotional this is and yet no screaming, and his voice is soothing.

Absolutely LOVE this song. As a born again man, I nearly lost my life 8 years ago. I was involved in a freak accident, laying under a 2,600 pound car..... that incident broke my left Radius, bruised several ribs , and did some nerve damage. The verses this is tied to and that accident ring oh so true for me . . . .

Skillet got me into Christian rock. Demon Hunter got me into Christian metal. This was the first song I listened by them and have been hooked

Have randomly had this song come up in my youtube, have listened to it for a few weeks and decided to look up other songs and have really enjoyed the music. Just today googled them and have discovered they are a 'christian metal band', have looked through the comments on most songs and seen mostly religious themed comments and i have to say my eyes have been opened. I did not really think 'religious people' could not only make but be fans of this style of music. Have to say honestly that i feel uplifted to have an energetic connection to so many people i don't think i would have otherwise related to easily. I call them my, "first Christian metal love." Because they were the first Christian metal band that I ever heard of and listened to before I even knew that Christian metal actually existed. I've been a Christian all my life. But the 2007 Storm The Gates Of Hell album would be my introduction into a very real and very heavy world of Christian metal of genres that I know very much about and am very heavily into.
