  Picture this. A final duel at the end of a western trilogy between the protagonist and the antagonist's gang. All of the hero's friends are dead, fallen one by one in each film. The fight has led here. The hero is surrounded. Wounded, he makes his way through the enemy to the church. He kills the leader of the gang. But he's been shot himself. He dies on broken shards of the stained glass windows as the camera zooms out from the destruction, slowly, and this song plays while the credits roll.
