Guys I recently lost my mother. She sit down with me at church shortly before she passed and told me God told her he was taking her soon and not to be afraid because she wasn't. I see a lot of hate between Christians and Non-Believers on Demon Hunter's videos and I fail to see why. I am an Atheist, and proud of my belief (or lack thereof), however I love Demon Hunter. I like the message their music portrays, and I can understand and respect the symbolism within their lyrics even if it stems from a religious belief. Hell, since discovering they are Christians, I respect them more. It's hard to take a stance, display that stance publicly, and to do so with conviction (especially without coming across as an ass). Does that mean I agree with their belief? No. Does my lack of belief mean I cannot enjoy them and call them one of my favorite bands? No. They're a great band, with a great message. Now if us Atheists could stop spewing our hate and if the Christians could stop spewing their hate, we could all get along and enjoy this kick ass band together. We're all humans. We're all brothers and sisters. Let's accept and cherish each others differences. Let's make our own journeys through this life, supporting each other and listening to some kick ass metal while we do so.

Demon Hunter is an absolute incredible band. My mother used to work at a Christian book store as the music buyer. She used to bring all sorts if brand new bands cds home for me. I found some bands That turned out to be some of my ALL TIME favorite bands. Demon Hunter is definitely one of those. Project 86, Blindside (Swedish) August Burns Red, etc. Love you mama. And miss you everyday. You're with the Lord now. How amazing is that. We'll see you when The Great Loving Lord takes us home. We'll finally get to be in His presence. WoW.

But the words of God (for Christians) is saying that no matter what happens you should never give up on life because he can feel the pain someone is experiencing from a person's passing (hence, dead flowers for the torn apart makes sense). I feel like Demon Hunter is this generations really good example of a Band that can convey a message that speaks to common every-day human struggles. I really love that about them. My best friend for about a decade, his favorite band was always Demon Hunter. I wasn't Christian, and so I didn't listen to them. Neither was he. One day he decided he couldn't listen to them anymore, was feeling convicted by a lot of lyrics. Now, they're my favorite band, and it kills me not being able to even thank him for the music that's helped me so many times, and knowing the pain he's going through, and that it's nothing compared to Hell itself, he doesn't believe anymore from what I know, and I know I can't make him. Only the Holy Spirit moving on him can. Please, PLEASE pray for my friend. I'm actually shaking a little typing this, I miss them all so much, but he was about the only one with a semi-level head a lot of the time, but anxiety druves him crazy. I love you bro

This was the very first song I heard by Demon Hunter. That was back in January of last year (almost 2 years ago now), and they are still my favorite band. This song played on Spotify when I was going through a rough spot, as my brother died just a few months prior. I almost broke down in tears when I heard this song for the first time, and I couldn't agree with the meaning more. This is a great song by a great band that believes is a great God. I am so glad they are continuing the great work on there music, and I pray that they keep it coming for years to come. God bless you guys in Demon Hunter. By the way, this song still brings tears to my eyes. The pain of losing a loved one is not easily overcome, but it makes me feel a lot better knowing I'll see him again when I die.

I don't understand why non-believers have a problem of us expressing our faith on a video of People expressing their faith in a way they do best. I loved them before I knew they were christian, Knowing just brought all of their songs meaning to my face. I always liked the messages of songs the most, So it adds that much more enjoyment for me. Also you christians, who are 'defending' us, it is against our god's wishes for you to curse and hate on others, even if they are our enemies. i have a question and im not trying to sound like an ass but why are we (atheists) enemies if your god had said "love your enemies" why cant we just get along and let bygones be bygones?

***** I meant enemies in general, I personally do not find atheists enemies, Though I'm certain a few do. God says love your enemies, not hate them. So it pisses me off when I say so called " Christians" cursing people out and being immature. Your question was completely understandable, I think you just misread what I meant in my original comment.

25 yrs in the fight and Im wondering, after having lost everything including my faith, are you still so eager to step into war? 25 yrs ago I spoke the words while performing signs and miracles, "I dont know if I even can lose faith." It was a bad choice of words. Be careful with those!

I saw you on the Summer of Darkness tour when I was 17. Dead Poetic and Haste the Day opened for you in Baltimore. I already loved you because of your self-titled album and Summer of Darkness. I've loved you guys since I first heard I Have Seen Where it Grows. You have no idea how much your music and lyrics have impacted me in my life. Your music helps me feel things that I have trouble getting in touch with and expressing. I saw you live again in Koln during your first European tour. I was right next to the stage, I could have physically reached out and touched you all. I bought True Defiance as soon as it released. I can't express to you how much your music has impacted me throughout my life. Thank you for giving this gift to me and to everyone else who loves your music.

I've loved this song for years but it's never held as much weight to it until now. My grandpa is comatose after falling and will likely only live a few more days at most. He can't have the surgery because of his heart. I haven't seen him in 2 years. This song hits harder than ever. Edit: He passed at 3:30am, December 26th. He will be missed greatly.

I’ve never heard of this band or this song until KZread dropped it in my recommended based on other music I listen to. I am not even remotely disappointed, good work algorithm.

I talked to my Grandpa about Jesus a year before he passed away, he prayed and asked Jesus to save him. I miss him so much, the last thing I said to him on his deathbed was "I'll see you later Grandpa" and he said "Thank you Thomas"

I didn't say much to grandfather before he passed away. He died this year in November. I told him it's up to God wether he goes to heaven or hell and I pray he goes to heaven and I see him there and also that he may live longer and he seemed to shake his head in agreement but I'm not sure he was consciously or intelligently there to understand what I was saying. But at least I talked to him before he died a mabey 1- 2 months ago . He did something mean to me which was threatening me to whoop my butt if I keep throwing sand at my sister which was when I was a boy. But he also did something kindness for me and I'm grateful to him. I do loved him I wish he lived longer but sadly his decisions didn't allow him to also the decisions of his wife killed him faster. Sad but I just hope he's in heaven.

This is one of the best demon hunter songs ever. I get emotional every time. Really makes you think about what happens after this life.

Lost my dad October 11, 2018. I listen to this song every year on that day, it helps me remind myself that there wasn't anything I could have done, or changed. It helped me stop blaming myself, and let me get on with remembering the good memories I had with him.

That melody gets to me, the message is what really gets me.

I'm an atheist, and I enjoy this music. (: It sounds Beautiful, what's not to like? I don't care if they're a religious band or not.

Damn, I was just a kid when I found this song. I had no idea they were a christian music thing (sorry I don't know what the proper term is) and I only listened to them because I really liked the music. It's been a while since I heard them, and they still sound just as amazing! Can't believe that was back in 2012 I found them
