Wow! you don't really appreciate the size of these monsters until you see someone standing next to them, great vid.
Amazing and incredible machine. Very skilled operator (an amateur opinion)- he operates each movement with precision and gentleness. Looks like the beast has many an hour on it but still able to do many more! Very cool vid, many thanks and keep up the great work.
I remember this video !! It was probaly one of my most favourite videos!
Sweet video love the content and info you upload!
I absolutely love your videos keep up the good work
Thanks! It gives you a real good idea of the machines size
What a beast, learned a bit about them whilst at Komatsu. V16 cummins no matter what the machines badged sounds amazing.
gotta love the sound of that engine !

German technique - nice done PAmining ;)
Looks like it's been said repeatedly, but DAMN that thing is BIG!
Yep, they are big
Thanks!
Demag excellent quality machinery.
Looks like a good way to give the tracks a cleaning....
Man, if you had one of these bad boys with armor plating; nothing but a missile could stop you...
That's one scary machine.!
I can't remember off-hand, but I think it may have been the swivel joint
What was the problem with it do you know dood? I sure am not a fitter but i would hazard a guess and say a hydro manifold was damaged..
most off the time its the seals in the rotor dis that wear causing tracking problems
@1:17- Marion drag line in the background? Marion 8700?

David M. Heck No that would be a model 7800
its loks like they haven't been turned for quite a while as there is loads of dust
The problem is one motor is turning the track slower than the other. Dirt has nothing to do with this. You don't have to clean the cats off a giant excavator like this as you do with a smaller one.
Well there is your problem, it's got dirt in the tracks
Oh, baby. When HUGE and HEAVY just isn't HUGE AND HEAVY ENOUGH!
Thanks!!
