Quite possibly the most elegant looking megazord of all. You have to love how symmetrical it is.

I have great nostalgia watching this Megazord premier on Saturday morning to take down Darkonda.

I remember owning this Megazord as a kid, I always thought it was the coolest one from In Space. Maybe I was lucky that mine never broke while I still had it? I never had the issues mentioned in the video, other than the red ranger's zord antenna being bent. And it's funny that it was mentioned about all the zords being destroyed that season: only the Astro Megazord survived to the end of In Space, but would ultimately meet it's end in the conclusion of the following season, Lost Galaxy. Kind of sad, really.

Loved this Megazord as a kid. Lent it to a friend during school, and of course he broke the red ranger zord into pieces. Still have it to this day. Luckily in Megazord mode, the damage isn't too noticeable.

My brother and I had the Animus zord from Wild Force and we let our friend borrow it in exchange of his original Wild zord, and in the time of having it we lost his yellow eagle zord so when we went back to return it we ran with our Animus before he realized he don't have his eagle he never did spoke of it after that maybe he thought he never gave it to us? 🤷🏿‍♂️ Lol

The mega Voyager is my favorite megazord for many reasons but it was just really popular and it was the main one I couldn't take my eyes off in the show itself 😍😍😍😍😍

I vividly remember my grandma (RIP) going to K-Mart on 2 seperate occasions to get me this zord and having the same problem both times. The yellow zord's left arm kept coming aloose. As a 30 year old man I still get upset about that to this day. It kind of bitters my memory of this zord, both irl and in series. It's a great and cool zord.......that I really never got to own.

This is one of my favorite megazords of all time. I really grew up with this one a lot, same with the Thunder Megazord (MMPR), and Dragonzord.

I thought the naming was weird as a kid, but now knowing as an adult the big MEGA VOYAGER text in the cockpit was from the Sentai footage, I laugh because they basically forced Power Rangers' hand on that one.

Yeah, i believe that they have literally no choice. Mega Voyager and Mega Winger literally plastered at the front of the cockpit right in the center of shot. If they want to change the name of the zord, they literally have to make an original cockpit for it, or just assume that we're stupid enough and pretend we didn't see the robot name at the front.

I never thought of it not being named megazord... It seemed and still seems ok with me to indicate it’s not the OG megazord in the In Space arsenaal.

To me The Pink Ranger Zord Looks Very Similar to the Shuttle Crafts from the Original Star Trek Series.

When they called it the mega Voyager I found it quite surprising because they didn't stick with the name of megazord which that actually made me feel like there was more to the mega Voyager then meets the eye

I had the exact same problems with my Mega Voyager. I was so frustrated with it that I sold it... With noting all the damages.

Mega Voyager and mega winger actually at least follow through with one famous part of the name "MEGA "

I love these videos and I appreciate the research thats put into it. I've also noticed an increase in demand for the Megazord in question in the videos on the Facebook groups.

Just realised this was my first ever Megazord.

Man I remember trying to buy this thing back in the day. Was first hard to find cause I lived so far away from any big stores, then paying for it I thought I had enough for most megazords st the time....this thing being like $15 more and I did not have that much...i was not a happy kid

I vividly remember getting it from Toys R Us back in the day. My parents gave me the choice between that and the Turbo Rescue Megazord. Got the Mega Voyager.

It's one of my favorite Megazords from the Zordon Era. I have all the Zords from In Space except Silver Titanus. Sadly my Mega V4 Zord is a bit missed up. The arms as lose and wobbly and sometimes they just come off the screws completely. I've tried some many times to fix them but no luck.

You could argue that since Zordon was Gosie mentor the megaforce /super mega zords are more zords that he planned (manly considering that I don't see Gosie making the supermega zords just getting them updating them with each new teams powers

When I get to In space while collecting megazords this is the one I want to try to get from the season.

Oddly enough I get a dino megazord vibe from mega voyager. Might have to pick one up sometime, I think toy wise this looks the best out of the whole season. Unless we're counting the lost galaxy black megaship repaint, then that's probably the best looking one of In Space.

The first time I saw the transformation process, I immediately thought it was similar to that of the Super Zeo Megazord. Though I wasn't pleased with how about 90% of the Mega Shuttle formed the shield, with teh remaining 10% forming the head.

I remember in the show I think the rangers would sometimes summon the voyager one by itself from time to time to fight.

Mega Voyager was the only Zord i had from this season but it was totally my favorite one. I may need to track it down and buy it again.

Man, you weren’t lying when you said this plastic was brittle and fragile. My blue zord keeps cracking. I just ordered the japanese version to see if the plastic is better, i”ll keep you updated!

I had that one. The Silver Ranger Megazord connects seamlessly I'd like to think. I also got it for Christmas.

Power Rangers in space was basically three 3/4 Transformers in terms of their Megazord arsenal. Galaxy mega being a headmaster, Delta mega being a pain to transform, and mega winger being basically a Power Rangers version of Starscream/Jetfire. It took super sentai 27 years to have a six ranger wing combination with one of, if not the main Megazord for the team. Interesting

Love the greenscreen effects! I actually got the shield/shuttle zord in a bag of 2nd hand Power Ranger toys. It didn't come with the rest of the mega voyager, so I didn't recognize it as a zord, I just thought it was a generic shuttle toy with a weird sticker on the bottom.

Thanks! Hope it doesn't look too goofy. Yeah the lack of transformation of Mega V-2 doesn't really identify it as much of a PR zord

The mega Voyager isn't the only megazord that does not follow through with megazord in the name which would also be mega winger

My copy also has a lose left arm right out of the box when it first hit the stores, didnt realise it was a wide issue in the japanese/american release, but I couldnt forsee the yellowing on the red and pink zords.

I like that you always put the Zord behind you so we can see how big it really is. The closeups always make them seem HUGE.

Pink zord reminds me over a rover. Like the mars rover/Wall-E

It’s name is the same because it was in English on the dashboard of the megazord cockpit footage same for the mega winger later at least you have that info now for the Mega winger video

I'm halfway through rewatching In Space right now. Hopefully we will see modern remakes sometime from Hasbro.

I remember getting all but the Red and Yellow Zords for this at a yard sale

I’ve seen loads of rescue megazords packaged in in space boxes. Not sure why when it was a turbo megazord

The left arm on mine broke less than a week when I got it as a kid! Parents returned it. Shocked it also happened to others!

Old Video, but new Comment. I had this megazord as a kid, my first megazord, but my Yellow Zord Broke, the arm fell off, and a Dog chewed the head from Mega V2. So, I was looking to get a new one for me, and I found a pretty solid Mega Voyager Megazrod for $80.00!!! I was so exctied. The Yellow zord looked solid, the Black zord wasn't chewed. Stickers are pretty much there. Everything looked great, until I popped off the Blue Head Cap above Mega V1...took it off and Bam, learned the Red Mega Voyager has broken plastic on the top. it's rough. Can't notice it in Megazord mode at all... but when I take it a part, it hurts my soul. So yeah, I really am praying for a new version of this toy at some point.

Love your videos! The accent gets me every time :-). Sorry if that sounded creepy!

This, the time force blue and red zord and the light speed omega megazord are my favorite zords

I got this for Christmas in 98. I don't know what happened to it all, but the only one I still have is the yellow ranger ship.

I recently found this very well loved toy in my parent's storage, but after years of sitting in a hot attic, the Mega V1 broke rather spectacularly when I attempted to un-transform it. Both legs snapped off at the hip joint and the top part of the chest was ripped clean off. Was able to fix it cleanly with super glue, but damn, talk about heartbreaking.

Great video sir! Taking about mega v1, I had to replace that figure 3 times (on third now). It is so frustrating trying to fix or buy that one off eBay. I just got the third one off eBay and took 10 months for that one figure to pop up on eBay. 40 US dollars for it. I normally never had issues with the zords but this one OMG. I am looking for directions online to make sure it’s being done correctly lol. Because I always had a feeling I was doing it wrong BUT again the facts are true about mega v1!

powerrangertube so finally looking at the two mega v1 figures I got (one son broke again lol ) and one I gotten in the mail but didn’t open till today. The color is really different. I don’t know if it is heat or bandai used cheaper plastic than Japanese version. If you have Twitter I will send you a pic of it maybe you can decipher between the two

Does anyone have the Japanese version? Is the plastic as brittle as this?

I actually own this one since my childhood. Had given up on Power Rangers after Zeo but on a trip to Spain my parents got me Mega Voyager and Mega Winger. I'm glad they did back then, today they're way too expensive.

You could try unscrew the 4 screws on the black arm bits that go on the yellow bit, once you're in, try tighten the screw that holds the arm on. It worked for me until I moved the arm - then it went back to loose. But yours might stick

Are you going to move onto the Wildforce line after you do the last zord of this season? Or is that just a "when you happen or feel like getting em"

I wonder if they made parts of the chest piece of mega v 1 out of diecast would it have held up better

You know you can de-yellow white plastic if you know what you are doing?

There first megazords is there base like in Japan so basically there zords is this mega voyeger

I hope he sees this comment. Hydrogen peroxide and sunlight, or a uv light, will reverse the yellowing on the plastic. If stickers or electronics prevent submersion, hydrogen peroxide cream is often sold in hair salons as a dye removal aid. I've used both with great success! (Indirect sunlight or white electronic lights obviously takes longer, a ziplock bag helps keep the cream from drying if it takes multiple overcast days)

Mega zords here are build like in japanese version in the mighty Morphin I don't know because in zyurangers they are god
