I have to say, if Delta slid into my DMs, my feet would never touch the ground again, I'd be walking on sunshine 😂😂 John's version of "You're the voice" is already so perfect that it's hard for anyone to come close, but Delta does the best cover that I've heard, by far. She also does a pretty good cover of "That's Freedom" and "Burn for you". Also worth watching her cover of "nothing compares 2 U"

Delta is an amazing artist, sadly she hasn't been recognized outside of Australia, she should have made it world wide. She has also had her health issues over the years, diagnosed with Non Hodgkin lymphoma, she is beautiful talented and brave.

This video of Nick's is criminally under-viewed. And I grew up with Farnsey; the first song I ever memorised the words to was 'Pressure Down' from Whispering Jack. John Farnham is peerless, we all know that, but Delta's cover here is EXCELLENT.

Delta’s wonderful, now that im back in Australia i hope i can see her live. Love John’s original but Delta’s is also really good. I’ve read that you can definitely improve your situation re diabetes, I know a few in this situation. Take care!

Your the voice is one of those songs many try but only a few ever can achieve the power and excitement aussie have for this song and its good to see you agree, go try it but you best be at the top of your game or else you won't just fall short

I have never heard anyone do this song justice. And I’ve heard a fair few covers. No one can do it like Farnsey. But Delta did an amazing job. Still not as good as John though. Love them both. But this will always be his song

I dont mind the way Delta sang this, she is an icon in Australian music. Johny Farnham with the melbourne symphany orchestra tho is My pick for this song. No doubt Delta Goodrem is powerhouse singer . Delta covers John Farnham a lot there’s a lot respect there . Unfortunately there’s never been a collaboration between John and Delta even both artists shared the same management with Glenn Wheatley for a few years early in Delta’s career . Sorry Nick I do disagree with you on Kate Miller-Heidke’s cover , Kate push’s the boundaries with her covers she isn’t scared to make changes to classic song with her own quirkiness . I feel You’re The Voice is safe song for Delta to sing . I surprised you haven’t did a reaction to American rock band Heart version of You’re The Voice released 1991 6 years after John’s original . Heart’s version did a better on US billboard charts as well . Unfortunately John original only just made top 100 in the US in 1987

I don’t think it needs to be always belted, lol. It is the lady you’re talking about saying it in a very strange way… But you could definitely have a soft version with some head voice and belted out toward the middle halfway through the song. You can play around with it.

Nope Celine just doesn’t do it for me, it a Farnsey song and always will be. Delta did a pretty good job too but Celine’s version was not good!

Sorry John Farnham is the Voice the only voice that matters and is in this particular song. Delta has a good voice , but doesn't come close to John Farnham. I wish John Farnham would fiddle with these lyrics so we could use it for our national Anthem for Australia. Each time we won medals in Birmingham just recently when Australia won, they had the voice playing in the back ground with John Farnham singing it. Love John Farnham ,the only Voice.,
