Tall poppy syndrome. Australians sometimes don’t support people who are that good. She is too beautiful, too talented and too nice. People struggle to accept that she’s real, but there has never been any evidence to the contrary. She actually is that talented: as a musician, a songwriter, a singer, and a performer. She should have a much much bigger audience than she has, she is one of Australia’s most gifted artists.

In part, it goes back to when we had a harder time importing recording equipment way back when. We couldn't produce domestically to an international standard, and that reputation kind of stuck and still makes it harder for Aus artists to break through.

A particuar record comany, compartmentalises Bands/Artists to their geographical location (i.e. Celine and Mariah are their "cash cows" and are pushed globally in the media etc). Thanx to our Brutha doing the review, many like Delta, John Farnham etc are finally being exposed to the World finally. She will be known to everyone very soon, finally! :)

I’ve seen Delta in real life, she had no makeup on and she is STUNNING!!!!! Her smile lit up the whole room and even her laugh sounded good, she can do no wrong

I paid an arm and a leg to import her merch to South Africa but it was worth every single cent, I can promise you that. I live and breathe Delta 'Love and Light' Goodrem. You should really listen to her latest LP, Bridge over Troubled Dreams. She calls it 'her first woman record' and I can promise you that you will be crying and laughing and be inspired when the album is through. The story behind 'Crash' is quite amazing. We almost didn't have Delta in the world. "I had faith in the front seat, and hope by my side." Take a listen!

Yes!! Enough is one of my favourites, the arrangement of the song is spot on and Delta is amazing. Have it on full blast in the car and at home it’s just so good.. Like to think when she wrote this it’s directed at all the neigh sayers that have been giving her hell though her career and as a true Aussie battler she continually proves them wrong everytime.. I love Delta but haven’t heard this before. She’s incredible, and overcome health problems too, so it’s not like she’s had an easy ride (which the media overlooks i think). Beautiful musicianship as well

Ignore the haters. Or take a page out of Delta's book. "If someone has nothing but hate to give, give them love; kill them with kindness." Truer words have never been spoken by anyone. About a decade ago, around the time she started season 1 of The Voice Australia it literally became a national sport in Australia to demean and mock her and bring her down - hating Delta was basically a national pass-time for her fellow countrymen. It was horrible to witness but she came out the other side a stronger and better person. Love and Light as QueenD would say. Look in the mirror and see your own worth. You know who you are, don't be someone else's best because you'll always be second best. Be your own best! I love your reaction videos; they are honest and a joy to watch! Love and Light! xoxoxo

And to think with her tour earlier this year she hit stunning whistle-notes that left everyone speechless while she had to learn to speak and sing again after the complications of her surgery in 2018. Delta is phenomenal!

A great Canadian Producer gave her young actresses some advice that might resonate with you TSR…imagine the reactions you get from the viewers as a white piece of paper with a small blue dot on it. We naturally wanna look at that dot and focus there. Instead give your attention to the rest of the page. That little spot of negativeness is not worth your time, enjoy the overwhelmingly positive community you have had flock to you and soak that in. This vid was 🔥 yet again. One of my faves from Delta - Gizzle was incredible in this too.

Delta says something very similar in her Bridge Over Troubled Dreams book. You can buy the audiobook that she narrates herself. The story behind 'Solid Gold' uses a very similar analogy that a friend of hers taught her when she was going through a difficult time.
