    Banglar ranna ghor chanel ta amar shob shomoe bhalo lage, but parmesan na die pea nut breadcrumb green chili die pesto banaile ki bolbo? Eita ki thik hoilo? Aar original pesto recipe is easyer and simple... Matro 3 ingredients...

    Both ingredients parmesan and pine nuts are very expensive and not readily available. We've found that commonly used ingredient like peanuts and bread crumbs are a great replacement for them. Worth a try 👌.

    @@banglarrannaghor Peanut has really different flavor profile and for cheese you need a hard cheese like parmesan, pecorino or any other aged cheese, its very salty and full of fat. generally when you make pesto it has oil floating oil both from olive oil and other fatty ingredients... and when you mix the natural fat it becomes smooth... the other 3rd ingredient would be basil leaf... other then course salt... and you didn't use any of the main ingredients... you can exchange pinenut with cashew, almond or some neutral fatty nut, or even sunflower or pumpkin seed generally who have nut allergy do it, but sunflower will give it black texture... at least use dhakaia cheese or mozzarella for cheese... cilantro in place of basil is ok, but basil is better... but chili, water and breadcrumb will make it something else... specially breadcrumb will soak the oil and you wont be able to preserve it longer as bread has tendency to form mold....but a oily pesto even if that cost more would ve better... you only need a tea spoon or two for a boal of pasta taste more and you can keep it in fridge and use it longer.... you can also use that as bread spread and try with egg fry or poached egg... I know your recipe will be very nice indeed, I have seen your other recipes and they are fantastic, but if a international viewer sees this they will think your bangla recipes are not authentic.

    @@tawhid87 She is not claiming it is pesto. When you don't have the ingredients or can't afford the ingredients, you experiment. This is how our grandmothers and theurir ancestresses came up with vegetarian or desi/local versions of Anglo dishes.
