I am a U.S. Marine veteran and part of me wants to have little cards printed up that say "These riders are NOT actors. They are trained soldiers performing a duty. Please show them and their horses the Respect They Deserve" and then spend a day or two just handing them out to the tourists.

I agree with you, sir they’re not actors they’re not little Toy soldiers, the actual active duty, men and women that serve their country and they deserve the respect show them the honor and respect they deserve. I myself is from the USA Massachusetts actually and I’m a widow of a marine, and I am also a patriot guard rider ride captain for the north east of Massachusetts, and I have the upmost honor and respect all my service personnel would you, gentlemen and ladies go through is probably more than I could tolerate. but yes, sir passing out cards stating that they are not actors in a show like Disney World or Disneyland. They’re not actors, respect their boundaries and give them space don’t crowd up on the horses stick your fingers in the horses face or grab the reins. Read the sign people answer. Thank you for your services to our great nation❤

They don't need patronising cards put next to them. They need to be more aggressive with the public to show they're not to be taken for fools.

The guards have the patience of saints.. just shows their good training.. keep calm at all costs.. Wonderful.

I wish the Guard would decide he's had enough and press the emergency button to get that man removed. When he raised up both his arms outwards infront of the Guard and horse, that's an aggressive stance. He's disturbed and possibly dangerous.

The parade appears to be the Orange Men from Ulster marching. I am so shocked and pleased to see how respectful a march can be going past the Horses ❤. I think the chap annoying the Trooper might have a slight intellectual disability as he appears oblivious to social cues. Hopefully he is harmless and stays away from the Horses.

They need to switch the police officers over here, these officers are too soft with the public. Even while holding guns, they literally have so little authority when it comes to drunks and mentally ill people in the way pestering the guards.

I don't think the officers are being soft they are just following the law. Everything outside the gates is a public walkway so it's hard to remove someone just for being there. They sometimes move people on but that's a bit of a grey area, actually arresting someone is nearly impossible and certainly not possible for someone being annoying.

Well, looks like they just another annoying person with a backpack…..they finally got that woman to stop coming around and now they have this guy…..

What an appalling abuse of a horse. He’s obviously a victim of Maggie Thatcher’s “care in the community” way of dodging giving mentally disturbed people the proper care they need. He shouldn’t be allowed out without supervision - he’s a danger to himself and who knows how many others. But he’s not completely oblivious to what he’s doing - he looks to see if the police are watching before he goes to pester the horse again. Maybe if he’d tried abusing one of the nippier horses - he might have learnt, albeit the hard way, not to behave like that towards any animal in future. He should have been stopped and prevented from carrying out any further abuse. I find it so upsetting to watch that he was allowed to carry on.

@@TheMegahusky I’m saying he isn’t receiving the care he needs regardless of whose responsibility it is. Being over 200 miles away I fail to see what “responsibility” I could take other than advocating that he should get the help he so obviously needs - which he would get if I were “head of mental health”. If he had a broken leg it would be taken care of and given the treatment he needs. Mental health issues are treated as taboo - people just aren’t getting the help they need and if they are referred the waiting lists for the necessary treatment can be years long. What responsibility are you taking for him? In the meantime allowing him to treat an animal like that - even if he doesn’t understand the distress he’s causing - shouldn’t be allowed

@@Richard500 it’s not “politics” it’s common sense. He has a problem which is not being addressed because the waiting lists for adequate mental health care are ridiculously long and mental health care often takes a back seat to physical health care when both are equally as important. Politics doesn’t come in to it but if you think advocating those with mental health issues get the treatment they deserve is political then that’s your prerogative. I happen to think mental health care is as essential as physical health care - regardless of politics.
