Why can’t they bring back Ormonde. He would make the crowds move pretty darn fast! Just annoys me how tourists think it’s their god given right to touch the horses.

Yes the horse could freak out and there would be too many people getting very hurt and I'm trying to say that calmly and nicely too.

The King’s Guard shouldn’t have to put up with rude and ignorant tourists pulling his horse’s reins and generally taking the mickey out of him! Go home if you can’t respect British culture or traditions.

Tourists should not be allowed to get near the horses. They treat them like they’re in a petting zoo. The horses don’t deserve this total lack of respect. I would end any access to the horses. When I was 14 my grandfather gave me a horse for my birthday. His rules had to be followed exactly or I would lose my horse. We were always together. When I went to college he went with me. When I left California to work, I came home regularly to be with him. I was notifies that all the horses at the ranch were killed during the night. I was devastated. When I come to Britain I will spend time with the Life Guard’s and horses. If I weren’t 80, I would go riding again.

@@kathyturner6177 Interesting… police horses are often seen being petted in the U.S. Along with being used as crowd control, used for arrests… they’re also used to make friends for the police in the community.

If people are unaccustomed to being around equine, and do not understand them, they shouldn’t get close to them. The disrespect for guards (soldiers) and their working partner is deplorable. I agree that people should not touch the horses just as we don’t touch working dogs. The same should hold true here imo.

People so obsessed by their T T that they forget our Guards and their beloved Kings horses are serving on duty soldiers.

For anyone who has never worn spurs(dummy spurs properly), they’re surprisingly tricky. They make it SO easy to trip, it’s really easy to lose one(and yes, it’s ALWAYS just one….no idea why), and yes they easily get caught up in long clothing.

People need to understand these horses are military, doing a job same as the guard, they aren’t at a petting zoo, another sign should go up “Don’t touch the horses!!”

After watching several of these videos, I can honestly say that many more people are respectful than dis-respectful. So there's that.

Why doesnt the rider shout at them to stay away.

Сколько смотрю и думаю это не пост , когда каждый подходит и делает с лошадью и охраной что хочет , это больше шапито или цирк, но не служба , жаль солдат которые верят в это , ни одна страна мира такого не разрешила , накозание для туристов было очень серьезно, как можно подойти к солдату который нв на посту и делать все , что хочу , приезжайте к кнам и попробуйте подойти к солдоту который на посту , охота у вас пропадет на всю жизнь , почему военные себя так не уважают ,????
