I’m betting that Brock’s version is based on the actual story behind the name, while the name itself means something else. Like, team Venture probably named the act after him but I believe that Brock’s version is where it started.

I love how small and casual that comment makes the Venture world. That the Alchemist can casually call up members of the Guild of Calamitous Intent for a sex question bet and they immediately know it's involving a third separate entity that's part of Sphinx. It's cute in a way.

I try to explain this to people often, sometimes it's the obscuring that is much more funny. It let's your brain fill in the blank and then you feel dirty and giggle. I mean, chuckle. Laugh assertively.

You know, after all these years of us trying to figure out what the "Rusty Venture" sex act actually is, have we ever given any thought into what Rusty originally thought the drink was? All we know is it contains chilled bubbly.

I like how Shore Leave is always wearing that hat. For sheer fabulousness.

The fact that about half the words are censored is what makes this especially funny for me.

My favorite part is how they each other's phone numbers and are so nonchalant about talking about sex moves

This was the greatest moment in cartoon history. It's really a shame Adult Swim had to take this from us.

God I love this show. The beeps in this bit are timed perfectly.

Its makes this scene funnies with all the un-necessary bleeping they put in

I think to figure this out we need to think about who Rusty is and how symbolically the name makes sense. I think Brock’s definition is most correct because the move was invented presumably during Rusty’s early years. And if he was on the onset of puberty it’s possible someone like Rusty might do a “Rusty Venture” by accident when first figuring himself out. The real question now is what an “Action Johnny” is.

To me this was one of the funniest parts of the whole show. It was just such an exquisitely embarrassing thing that Thaddeus Venture had to deal with on top of the whole f****** rest of his life. It's like he's not really a bad guy but who wouldn't be f***** up and bitter after all the s*** that's happened to him. And wasn't there an episode where it hinted that Rusty had also been cloned once or twice? I noticed they've really cut down on the pill-popping references. Like when he's down in Tijuana insisting that he has "tri-polar disorder"?
