I think what makes them so appealing? Is that they are a bunch of regular guys who play and sound really good together. I dig the singers voice...thank you Canada for all of the great Rock you have given the world!

Listened to this album a lot; it spoke loudest during my marriage: "I feel like I'm on trial/its never ending, not worth defending/been like this for a while..." I'm now mercifully single and not hating life. Music is powerful and I'm grateful for these guys, among others.

Dallas Smith is one awesome singer. One of the best newer bands out there. I am in total shock why this band never made it huge. He writes and sings with such passion, puts everything he has into his music. I met him on a meet and great a while ago and he was just so great to his fans!

Saw them in 05' at Saint Andrews in Detroit. It's a small venue but they still sounded amazing. Definitely one of the most underrated bands from this era of music.

Default came to the little city of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, quite a few years ago, I'm so glad I got to see them, now Dallas is singing Country music, I hope the band is still together and he's just lapsed into some kind of temporary insanity, his Country song "Jumped Right In" is okay, but I prefer his Rock n Roll talent!

Wish they were still touring and coming up with new stuff. Saw them live and they were amazing. It was pouring rain, and only a few people left. Talented group. Would love to see them play live again.

i first heard it when i was nine, my dad and i went on this short trip to the store, and this song, kryptonite, and headstrong came on the radio one after the other, i searched on youtube forever. Took me a moment to figure out where i had heard this song when i found it on a video last year. There is no feeling of sastifaction like finding a song you havent heard in forever

I hadn't heard of this band untill i recently went through all of there songs and realized that 'Waisting my Time' was a big hit when it first came out. I have liked every song of theirs i have heard and wish they would come out with some new music. i love how they aren't normal, other bands seem to fallow this status que that they don't, there just who they are. and all different in their own way.

Yeah everytime I hear the singer of Defaults voice I think to myself, the combination of a great voice and hawtness makes me wanta melt. =P

Nickelback released their first album in 1996 and released their three best albums before Default released their first album in 2001. So, in short, no they didn't.
