Late 90's early 2000's were the very best. I'd give a lot to go back then.

The early 00s were a special time. The music and the culture and everything was just perfect. I'm glad I got to grow up in it.

The scene with him chasing her at around 0:44. Damn. It pictures perfectly the aggression,desperation and shame with which you chase that which had been eluding you all your life. But all you do is scare it, making it run away faster. ''Noone'' helps a beggar, with a few exceptions. But realizing you are one makes it so easy to be angry and hateful. And no-one likes a negative person either. It's like a never ending cycle. Quite tragic. Until you break the cycle.

Earshot almost instantly made it to my top five favorite bands, knocking a few giants down, with just this song. Then I found Not Afraid, Get Away, Missunderstood and from there I just devoured their music with zeal. Sure, yes, they started off as essentially a tool/perfect circle esque band, but if you hear their music enough, you start to see how original they really are. I would never mistake a song by Earshot with Tool or Perfect Circle anymore. I think one of the biggest issues they had was that Maynard didn't just create his bands, he created a genre of music, and unfortunately, anyone who writes music in that genre ends up labeled as Tool Clones. Earshot is not a tool clone.

Ripping up the tracks bit after bit, opponent after opponent in a Sand Rail, MX vs. ATV Unleashed was a franchise to cherish for the end of time. Nostalgia at its finest and best.

WWE raw vs smackdown desperately needed this song
