And what did they do with all that money? Did they turn Gaza into a new Singapore? No! They built the largest terroir wrist underground infrastructure in history! 750 km of tunnels under hospitals, schools and mosques. Not to protect their own people but to hide in them whilst using their own people as human shields in their single goal to destroy Israel. Stop incentivising terroir wrists and instead, call on your government to invest in re-educating the Palestinian people that they too disserve human rights, a just justice system, an education system where their children are not taught to be martyrs to the cause, freedom of speech and democracy. Definition of "refugee" A person who has been forced to leave their country as a result of war, persecution or natural disaster" Refugee status does not apply 75 years after a war at a point when the population of refugees has increased 10 fold and the original refugees are expected to have been absorbed somewhere. Why is the overwhelming majority of the UN refugee budget consumed by UNWRA after all these years? It is forgotten that while 500,000 Arab refugees fled Israel during Israel's war of independence, 800,000 Jews were summarily expelled from Arab countries, absorbed by the war torn, infant, underresourced state on top of all the post-Holocaust refugees pouring in. It is also forgotten that while Europe was slaughtering its Jews, countries globally close their borders and reduced their quotas for Jews. A Jewish state is an absolute necessity despite Arabic victimhood posturing.

Are you sure about that? This conflict is one of three in the world where refugees and their families maintain refugee status because they're denied entry to their own country UNWRA was created specifically for the Palestinians (it's a bit shady but nothing proven, just smears). The original refugees are expected to have been absorbed back into their country because obtaining land by conquest is also illegal under international law. Israel tried to be a colonist but left it's run too late and the world changed. Ironic really because the world changed because of the holocaust. Yes 800,000 Jews were expelled because of what Israel did to Palestine. No sympathy for "the war torn, infant under resourced state", they acted in bad faith for years prior to creation of Israel. They committed to ethnic cleansing in 1897 when they decided to take Palestine. They planned to take all of Palestine even before the Partition was drafted and started the Nakba before the Arabs invaded. If you want an example of victimhood posturing you only need to look at Israel, a military super power being the victim of a 35,000 strong bunch of "freedom fighters" with rifles, rockets and RPGs against tanks, jets, artillery, 2,000lb bombs etc. Hardly a victim. On top of that genetics show that the Palestinians are the Jews who stayed when the exodus happened, they converted to Islam as stated by the actual founders of Israel who thought it would be good to bring the two populations together. Obviously they had a change of heart. The Palestinians have more right to the land than the Jews who left and accepted converts to boost their numbers which diluted there blood lines and destroyed their claim of descendance from Israel.
