I've been hearing one variation or another of his canned lies and talking points from basically every Palestinian spokesman for over 50 years. They literally haven't changed the script a bit, being one trick ponies who deep down know that they're full of shit and have got nothing else to offer. Sure, they could start telling the truth and have their own state, but they don't want one unless it includes all of Israel too. That's what this is actually all about, their inability to accept that they lost that part of "Palestine" and will never have it back. They're still stuck in 1948 and can't or won't seem to unstuck themselves. 75+ years devoted to a dream that will never come to be. The PLO was founded in 1964, to "liberate" Palestine. It's literally in its name and mission statement. But in 1964 Palestine (which actually never existed and I challenge anyone to prove otherwise, with facts and not lies) wasn't didn't exist and wasn't occupied and thus didn't need to be "liberated". Literally every square inch of Israel at the time was recognized by the UN and international community as legitimate, including the territories lawfully seized and annexed in its war of independence in 1948-9. There were no occupied territories and there wouldn't be for another three years. So what exactly was the PLO trying to "liberate"? It was trying to "liberate" Israel, obviously, which it and every Arab country didn't recognize at the time and viewed as stolen land, both the parts lawfully seized and annexed in 1948-9 and the parts allocated to Israel in the 1947 UN Partition Plan, and thus land that they wrongly believed they could legitimately take back violently. In fact it, and its precursors, had been trying to violently "liberate" israel since the end of its war of independence in 1949, from Gaza, the West Bank and Syria. So everyone please spare me this whole ridiculous lie that Hamas and other terrorist organizations are simply trying to "defend" Palestinians from Israeli occupation and legitimate take back the territories occupied in 1967, because they still view ALL of Israel as occupied, and not just these territories. They lie and pretend that they just mean the territories, but they actually mean all of Israel, and push them enough and they will admit this. They still don't accept Israel's legitimacy and probably never will, and if they got their own country, on the '67 territories, they'd just use them as a base from which to "liberate" the rest of "Palestine" from what they dismissively call the "Zionist Entity", as they had done continually before 1967 and have tried to do since. So obviously Israel has every right and need to continue to occupy these territories, unless and until Palestinians finally abandon their delusional claim on Israel proper, renounce violence, accept Israel's legitimacy, and agree to live side by side with it in peace. Until them, the occupation continues, legitimately. So hypocritical yet typical for them to run to the UN for 75+ years of relief and hide behind it to defend what they dishonestly call "self-defense" and "legitimate resistance", yet reject the UN's own declaration that Israel proper in its pre-1967 borders is fully legitimate and not subject to dispute. You can't have it both ways and pick and choose which UN resolutions you accept and reject. You are obliged to accept them all or you're full of shit and should be treated as such, with rhetorical toilet paper and a flush down to the ideological and political sewer. 75+ years they demand everything and get nothing, and complain to the world that they're being oppressed and persecuted. THEY are their own persecutors!

Actually I came here to discuss and ask questions since you seem much more knowledgeable 1) I heard that during the cold war Russia made up the name Palestinians but I can't find a source on it. 2) Since Israel won the war in 1949 after it became a state was ratified, but the arab state refused the offer given by the British mandate and then started a war and lost it to Israel. They weren't ratified so isn't gaza an illegal occupation on Israeli territory?

@@arno7163 Ok, #1 is false. The word "Palestine" goes back to the Roman era and is based on the ancient coastal country of the Philistines that actually included Gaza. It refers to the area roughly covered today by Israel, Gaza, the West Bank and parts of Syria and Lebanon. The usage of the word "Palestinian" to refer to people of primarily Arab ethnicity who live in this region can be traced to around 1900, and didn't start being widely used till after WWI ended. As for #2, yes, Israel won its war of independence and ended up with both the territory given it by the UN Partition Resolution of 1947 and the territories it legally captured and annexed per the laws of the time (since changes). But these didn't include Gaza or the West Bank, which respectively remained in Egyptian and Jordanian hands. Israel briefly captured Gaza in 1956 because it was being used to stage terror attacks on it, but gave it back, then recaptured it in 1967 for the same reason, and held it till 2005, when it gave it back to the Palestinians. Who voted in Hamas which started attacking Israel again. You're going to come across a lot of nonsense, lies and distortions on this topic. Always verify because believing anything, including what I wrote here. Some people innocently spread misinformation while others do it intentionally.

The Palestinians would have had a future for their children, stability, an economy, peace and a state- but the Palestinians rejected it- So stop whining about 75 years of oppression because the truth is that the Palestinians chose that path and have still not changed their position as they have always rejected the 2 State solution . The piracy thing is a lie as anything else he said, but it is something worth addressing. Before 8 October thousands of Palestinians from West Bank were allowed to work inside Israel. The workers would earn more than inside the West Bank. But the question who pays the workers that work inside Israel? Israel pays them. That means that the worker in theory can return home with undiclared money and get rich, right? Well no, Israel helps the Palestinian authority by providing information about the salary that workers earn, the Palestinian Authority can tax the Worker accordingly. To summarize. 1. Israel pays more money to individual Palestinian by allowing him/her to Work. 2. Israel informs the Palestinian Authority of the salary, to help the PA prosper by correct taxation. What happens in Israel in return? West Bank sends "Lone wolves" to kill Israelis. Palestinian workers steal and abduct Israeli Dogs from owners and then extort the owners. If the owner does not pay, the dog dies in Dog fights (a sport that arabs like). Do you people (Westerners) understand what are we dealing with?!

And let us not forget that when the Palestinians were kicked out of Jordan - for among other things trying to assassinate the Jordanian king - They relocated to Lebanon, and absolutely ruined that country. Within five years of their arrival in Lebanon the country was plunged into a brutal Civil War that went on for 15 years. The Palestinians were directly responsible for this. Lebanon remains a hopeless, broken, and violent basket case to this day because of the Palestinians.

@@moniquesmith3236 I did not comment on the current situation. the reason is obvious. as you say, whilst at war, it is probably not wise to go to elections, though it has been done before and for the better. However, NO, Netanyahu is not the right person. there are several reasons for this; for one, the DS is deeply invested in sabotaging and replacing him which has led to his "war room" colleagues dis- and mis-informing him, or not at all. this is probably one of the major reasons for the October 7 horror. for another, he is far too conciliatory to the US, which is beyond dominant in the halls of government right now. this is leading to disastrous decisions vis a vis prosecuting war, and dealing with international pressure. and third, he is essentially "dead man walking," as far as the citizens of the country are concerned. the right has, for a long time, been ambivalent about him as his track record vis a vis the religious and conservative (hawkish) right has been poor, and the left hates him because he is not overtly aligned with the left. so it is clear that this is his last hurrah. those not INSIDE Israel will probably remain quite clueless as to the sea-changes happening in the Israeli political landscape. which is why I wrote what I wrote. because it is going to be like thunder and lightning on a cloudless day. once elections commence, people will see that the dovish left has, to all extents and purposes, disappeared. certain parties are going to overtake even the Likud, and the world is not going to be happy about it. the next government will be highly JEWISH (not to be confused with religious) and NATIONALISTIC because that is the force behind the people right now. there will be at least one new party which has a strong following and is very Jewish and Nationalistic. the progressive and dovish left is not likely to have a strong showing at all; already during the last elections, several formerly dominant leftish parties did not pass the voter threshold. even more parties from the left are definitely going to disappear. Israel has, for a long time, forgotten that it will never be accepted by the nations of the world... and that it is futile to even try. but the lesson has been learned, brutally.

Which children are you talking about? The 200,000 Yemeni children killed by civil war during the past 9 years, or the Iranian and Iraq children (300,000) killed during their war, or the Syrian women and children (150,000) killed under their current dictatorship and ISIS? The list goes on…why is it only Palestinian children that seem to matter today. There are over 250,000 child slaves currently in Africa by the time you finish this sentence! Most are enslaved by Muslims who are sympathetic to Palestine. I’m NOT okay with people being killed, however the reality is that if you (the people) deliberately attack another democratic country, and rape, and kill, then post it to social media and boast about “doing under the guise of resistance”…Then the consequences are harsh for your people. In addition, under Trump UNRWA was defunded by the U.S. - another source of income for Hamas and Iran had severe sanctions on it, lifted by Biden. Biden reinstated funding for UNRWA that over 3,000 of its employees were celebrating the Oct 7 massacre, at least one teacher has held an Israeli child hostage and many others were caught holding high ranking positions in Hamas. That’s where your tax money is going.

They are not freedom fighters. They fought the resolution181 of the UN of 1947 and they attacked Israel continously since then.
