Deep arteries of the face

Ғылым және технология

This is a tough one. We're just following the maxillary artery into the deep face as best we can (we looked at the superficial arteries and veins of the face a few weeks ago). Grab a cup of tea and a bunch of biscuits. Good luck.

    I absolutely love the way you explain everything. Even though I found head and neck annoying and hard, you've made it bearable. Thank you

    Dental alveoli are the sockets in the jaw containing the roots of the teeth (in the alveolar process = the thickened ridge of bone).

    Really a awsome video Sir. It would be interesting a lesson about infratemporal and pterygopalatine fossa (their borders, content and clinical features) in the future. Keep doing these amazing lessons, really apprecciated.

    Alveolar bone is the bone associated with the roots of the teeth, hence the alveolar arteries

    Thanks to you Sam ...this is the closest thing I got for 3D learning. Don't get me wrong you can do the stuff with software, but something about your teaching just makes me feel I'm in the classroom with you and it makes it so satisfying. I only wish my Uni was open for anatomy to take place with models like these during these lockdown periods. Then again - I'll have you as my anatomist any day!!! Swansea Uni is very lucky to have a lecturer like yourself!

    Do you think it could be called the alveolar artery because it sits within the alveolar bone of the maxilla and mandible?

  • @noorullahsoomro6011
    @noorullahsoomro60114 жыл бұрын

    It's called the alveolar artery because there's the alveolar bone!!! Part of the mandible where the tooth roots are embedded in - called the alveolus. 😊
