Ha! I should have Decluttered my “not using it now” box, but then I’m like Who am I to be on KZread with no other makeup?! Isn’t that hilarious to even have that thought? 🤣 As long as there’s room for the box, it stays.

I just discovered your videos and I am enjoying listening to you and cleaning. If I want to watch something I face too and watch. I'm glad I am not the only one who has a lot of beauty products. I am not buy anything until I use what i have. I used to buy items when I was working and now I know that a lot of items are too old. I have stuff under the double vanity and in 3 shoebox containers in my closet. The only good thing is that I don't have too much nail polish. Thank you for only keeping what I use and what I love.

You are cracking me up! It's so hard to toss away lipstick and eye make-up. I've bought a lot of nude lipstick that really doesn't work on women of color, but I refused to throw them away. I'm thinking that maybe I need to bite the bullet and let them go. Thank you so much for sharing. Very inspirational!

Omg! So glad you warned about the Two Faced melted matte lipstick! I was jusssst about to add the gingerbread one to my Christmas wish list pretty much because I heard the gingerbread flavour tastes amazing (and because I like the packaging) , but I'm pretty sure if I want to taste gingerbread... I can just buy gingerbread!

I am with you on the lipstick overload and swatching to find out that I have 20 of basically the same shade (out of 60 total lipsticks). WHY do I think that there is a perfect lipstick that I have to find?! I do think that I broke my buying habit recently after watching Hannah Louise’s No Buy Year. That was an amazing project and I learned alot from it. And I love YOUR declutter videos!!!

Great video! I am completely with you on the Too Faced Melted Matte's being awful! Both of the ones I had right from purchasing had a terrible smell and were so dry and crumbly! I wanted to love them because of the price I paid but the off putting smell and formula landed them in my declutter pile too! ❤️

I enjoyed this, although you have more cosmetics after reorg than I've ever had in my 56 years...lol. But I do love a good purge and reorg. I'm building my dream home in a few years and while I don't have a lot of stuff, someday my son's going to have to sell that house. I need to at least plan for someone like you who's going to need more than a drawer for cosmetics. :)

Love your videos!! Girl, those lipstick in the drawer unit are just waiting to be tossed and you know it. You said yourself that it's more lipsticks then you could use up in a lifetime so then they are only waiting to expire. Maybe your friends can get to see if they want anything of it? I'm only 8 minutes in and LMAO!!! And...I LOVE the Too Face Melted Matte Lipstick (Queen B is my fav), BUT I put just a little of the clear coat that comes with Covergirl Outlast over it. It keeps it from being too chalky, and I never use it all up with my CG Outlast! Just an idea to try...since you're obviously hurting for Lipstick! /S 😉

I was doing so well in the last few months, these videos help a lot thank you :) And for the Formula X nude shade, you might want to check out Essie's "Spin the bottle" it looks so similar and it has that Mannequin nude look but not to peachy or too pink. It has that perfect nude neutral look, it's my all time fave nude polish and i know you'll love it! xoxo

I tossed them because they were discontinued 2 years ago... which means mine bottles were probably all 3 years old. They were nasty. I did keep 2 of the shades that I love for reference... But I'll never wear them bc they are glooopy and gross. Thank you for watching! So glad you enjoyed!

Wasn't a waste at all bc they were at least 3 years old and really gloopy and gross. I would have bought some paint thinner to give them life... but I don't want to re-fall in love with them since I can't buy them ever again. I had SO much to get rid of... and they were all collectively taking up too much space from the things I DO love. Totally get the concern of wasted product though!

You've probably have got rid of it already but I noticed that you had a bottle of "baby oil". Now, whilst I would never used that oil on anyone's skin as it's made from distilled petrol I do use it for my stainless steel alliances. It keeps them shiny and it's one of the best kitchen hacks I've even been given. I'm really enjoying these videos, by the way. They're very motivating for me to do the same. Edited to say I meant appliances and not alliances my phone seems to have autocorrected to the wrong word!

Well, I’ve never used on pans and I’m not sure it would work on them because you can’t eat that oil and it probably would burn on the outside. I meant when used on appliances (I have a typo on my first comment) such as ovens, refrigerators etc

Omg right?! I loved them when I started, but they stopped serving their purpose to me after the first year!

I had subscription boxes for years. I have a whole shelf of those makeup bags. I used to use them to give my kids friends bdays gifts in. But now they just take up space.

LOL you are so fun to watch. Love the realistic organization (not all matching etc.) but you need to let go of the 7-8 year old YSL lipstick! I have a shoe problem haha!

I have these same drawers from Target-and I label them Nude, Mauve, Dark, Gloss, Matt.....I can find anything now. And if it smells funny-toss that lipstick/gloss out. xo

Wet and wild has a gel like polish that is great. oddly enough. you can find it at 5 below

I got mine come The Container Store... but you can get similar ones from Target or Bed, Bath, and Beyond!

skin / hair products and makeup can not keep you open for so long because of bacteria. Lipstick and gloss: unopened five years, after opening a year. Foundation: unopened three years, after opening six months. Mascara and liquid eyeliner: unopened three years, after opening three months.
