After watching this, I've realized i've been doing this for my entire adult life without labelling it, no wonder it always felt better when i decluttered my phone or one of my drawers. But you added more items i need to check. Absolutely love the video.

The biggest "minimalist" thing I did for my wallet was to a) go cash free and b) get loyalty cards integrated into my regular credit/debit cards, or c) get an app instead of a loyalty card. So now all I have is 2 cards in my wallet! There is no way I would ever remember to clean my purse out regularly...

+A Beautiful Horizon So true about receipts. Whenever I clean out my purse, that is the main reason for any clutter :S I have noticed that more and more loyalty apps in my country are giving you electronic reciepts instead, and I really hope it will catch on!

What a great guide! Sometimes I pity the fact that my life is already as declutterd as can be, so there's hardly anything left to organize. But luckily I have my annual cleaning and rearranging rituals, so it still feels like decluttering. 😋

I've just started my minimalist journey. I've got a chronic illness which was my main reason for wanting to make a change. I've watched many KZread videos but the advice was always information overload. I was finding it very hard to declutter all these things at once because of the pain I struggle with. I love how informative and helpful your advice is breaking it down in to categories will help me so much! Thanks you're very easy to understand and don't overload with too much information. New subscriber here! 😊
i knew the "extra stuff" was bothering me, but it did not occur to me that i should let it go.. hmm.. gna give it a try..hv been binge watching ur videos since yesterday.. feeling very inspired, both in terms of diet (vegetarian if not vegan) and minimalism..keep up the good work Sadia.. much love from India.
I'm not a minimalist and is not likely to ever be one, however I found this video really inspirational. I've actually been doing a little bit of these in the past two weeks. Spent several long nights just decluttering my documents (I've actually been hoarding documents, receipts, etc for well over a decade and it's just silly really), and I've also done a lot of clean-up on my computer, and now I feel inspired to want to tackle the rest. I just started a new position at my job which has given me more time and energy, and I would really love to actually do some decluttering, so thank you for this guide.

Hello Sadia, Thank you for creating such a wonderful guide to cleaning day by day towards minimalism. Usually, I’m really stubborn with lifestyle advice because of cliché statements in the self help community, but this plan is very well organized. Also, I am someone that gets overwhelmed with cleaning and this guide truly helped compartmentalize my life. I recommend it to anyone. Thankyou Sadia

I am so excited to start this!!! Thank youuu
Thank you! That's definitely a good idea to divide the job in many days and in many simple categories. This avoids the risk of feeling overwhelmed and give up the hard but healthy mission of minimalising!

This by far is my fave minimalist video. Spot on and something you can do on a daily basis, then the cycle continues. Maybe the first 30 days will be a struggle and might take longer, but once done, an hour a day (or less) can be enough. I really love this and this list can be easily added to my daily routine. Thank you for the idea 😁
We just evacuated Puerto Rico and were able to bring very little with us (we were pretty minimalist down there anyway) I am so excited to begin a new life in a new city with a minimalist plan! Moving is so much less scary (and cheaper) when you are not bogged down with things, and you are not interested in buying many things for the new place! Thank you so much for your videos, you are such an inspiration!!
Thank You very much for sharing the pdf with us
Love this video! I'd recommend things like old towels and sheets could be donated to animal shelters to give the puppies/kittens a nice snuggle blanket!
This video is perfection. I was feeling overwhelmed with all the items that I would need to throw away, when I began a KZread binge and stumbled across this video. You have provided something truly amazing. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this very helpful video and for giving us a great plan to be more organized in our home. I will surely follow each steps you suggested and hopeful be stress-free throughout the year 😊
What a great video! Thanks so much!
um this is gonna be perfect for when I need to procrastinate during finals week....
I'm loving the idea. I usually love to keep things eventhough they are of use anymore. I will for sure try this, one day at a time. ❤
Just your facial expression, your personality, makes me happy and motivated. So sweet person you are.
7:09 .. ""this can be the hardest.." ..especially if you throw it away and it comes back :)
This couldn't have come at a better time. I've actually started to declutter my space and you showed me a couple of things I missed in the schedule I made. Fantastic guide! New sub here. 😍
I love your approach to this. This is like months of stressing over all the things Ive yet to finish organizing. Thankyou, & God Bless You.
I desperately need to do this but it fills me with anxiety. I live in Japan. I don't have access to clothing in my size and my weight fluctuates frequently. I'm of lower income and I just don't have the money to replace things at short notice. The waste makes me feel incredibly guilty as well. Thrift stores aren't a thing. Japan has a massive disposable mentality... I have mental illness (it's stable atm though) which I don't think really helps the situation but because of my bipolar I have a LOT of what if items because my hobbies are so diverse :/ I've got to do this...

Something you have to keep in mind when watching decluttering or minimalism videos is that it's based around simplicity to make you happier and de stressed, not just to get rid of stuff. If you need the things you have, then consider organizing each category (not even with fancy containers just reorganizing) and cleaning them instead. I don't live in Japan but I am a college student in the US so I understand at least your situation with not having the income to replace clothing or furniture sort of thing.
Thanks Sadia. We moved from 1br apartments each into a shared studio. The amount of “stuff” we have is ridiculous. This will help me reduce the stuff in my life. I’ve already discarded while packing, will discard while unpacking too! :)

You please keep up the good job, and thanks again for telling us that imperfections are a part of life... Take care, bisous!
You look like amal clooney. Just younger and fresher.. love all you videos! Btw the phone, its so me. Everytime texts calls or chats come, i delete it after i read it.
