Agreed! We need more of these. So sorry you've been through the mill in the past year or so, Steph. So many of us have, with one thing and another. Glad to hear our KZread role models are in it with us - are here in the 21st century with us. Modern life, shaking my danged head. AND you prove to us we can get a grasp on our areas AND we get to see how you do it. It helps me so much, and I don't even know why or how but it's awesome. Your videos, your channel, Steph, fill a huge gap. Thank you! My organizing has been all over the place but I've accomplished a lot which never would have happened so fast without your channel and this series. I decluttered several times and I never do that. I even delivered it all to the drop box. I disapprove of our most convenient donation place for several reasons, but I took it there, to get things out of the house. Hoping to find a better donation place soon, but any port in a storm. And my home is starting to grow some vacant spots, which is wonderful! And your sister is a godsend, too, plus she sells produce bags? Is that her? I bought some and am very happy with them! Also, printables are terrific. I've bought some of yours awhile back and use most of the free ones. It all helps me & gives me a sense of accomplishment and some motivation! Winter is finally over but spring has been 30 degrees to 90 degrees, sometimes in the same day here in Omaha. Even the pets and wild animals don't seem to know what to do with such weather. So when we are staying indoors, especially, THANK YOU, STEPH!

The tiny bit of progress in little spaces over this month has been so helpful! It’s even changed my mindset so when I go to any new space at this point I’m asking myself “is there something easy here I can get of”? Such a relief but still a long way to go. Doesn’t matter every 1 thing gone is a win!

Just getting back into fly lady, after a very stressful time in my life, where I fell off the wagon, and everything turned back into chaos. So I am binge-watching fly lady videos all over KZread to motivate myself. :) This series got me started on a bit of decluttering today, and I ended up with 4 garbage bags for donation. I struggle a lot with time and energy, but I will attempt to find more time to do it when I can. So thanks for these mini series, they are super motivating to get started! :)

I love your attitude! You take everything in stride. My office and guest bedroom are the last places I can deep clean, declutter and reorganize. Last year, both of my grown sons had to move in with us. One has my only guest room and the other is in my office/library. Everything needs washing. Ceiling fan, walls, windows, sheers, drapes, all my bookshelves need a good dusting and washing. Carpet, desk chair, desk and cabinets. I dread the job, but it will feel good to get it done. They should be all moved out by the first of June. Now all I have to do is just keep up with my everyday chores and projects. Thank you so much for this great video. I Love shopping at Ross. I have never shopped at Hobby Lobby or Home Goods. You ladies I watch on KZread all seem to like shopping at those stores. I'd love to give one of them a try. 🧹🧺🪣🧼🧽

My craft room sometimes gets a little out of control and I find myself avoiding it. A week ago I had my husband add a shelf and move some stuff around (I can’t climb on ladders anymore), and I have fallen in love all over again. It wasn’t horrible, but I’m storing all my daughter’s crafts, so I moved hers up high and was able to get everything off the floor. Feels so good. Thanks for the motivation this month.

My big project was turning the closet in mine & my husband's room into a nursery. Losing a whole closet has meant that for now my husband and I have paired down so much stuff that was stored in there. Everything left has a purpose and a new home. Now to buy the dresser to house the baby clothes/diapers. I will miss this series. This has been so awesome decluttering alongside you!

I hope to make some good progress this month. Thank you for the motivation.

My big project is small chunks of a whole house declutter. I have been trying to fit it in whenever I can, between caring for my baby and toddler, husband, and the rest of the household work/ needs with projects like seasonal clothing swaps, etc. I have been amazed at how much I can get done in 15 minutes (if I have uninterrupted time) and hope to keep going until I’ve decluttered the whole house, and then maintain it. I love these videos you’ve made tracking your progress, as well as challenging and encouraging your listeners to come along for the journey. It’s nice to feel like we’re working beside each other, because isn’t housework better when you know you’re not the only one doing it? Haha. I also want to thank you for introducing me to the Fly Lady system. I have been trying it out and it has been a game changer, when I stay consistent 😆If you’re up for it, please keep doing these 21 day challenges and other mini video series that you have done! ☺️

My big project has been a family room that we don’t use much. It has become my sorting area. I’ve been doing a lot of decluttering and this room has been really helpful to pull things out and go through boxes and such. My big project was my shed, with typical shed and garage stuff, decor, holiday decorations, seasonal decor, camping gear, gardening stuff -- you name it. It was a BIG job and I got rid of a ton, but phase 1 (the heaviest declutter) is finally done! My goal is a more ruthless second wave of decluttering and additional organization in place before school is out. I tend to feel like I have to do it all at once, but I think I'll do better by tackling it in sections the way we've all done this series. Kinda sad the series is over! 😞

I unpacked stuff I hadn't unpacked since I moved in 2013! I found a lot of photos I thought were lost forever. Now I have a fairly large space open where I think I'm going to slowly setup a kitchenette and coffee bar for when my pain is bad! I also got some stuff cleaned up outside between snow falls and now if spring ever comes I have a cleared space that I can finally bring out my bistro set and some planters! So excited! Thanks for the challenge Steph! You have done amazing! 💗💗💗

Thank you for creating this challenge! I have now officially finished. 🎆 I started in June and it took me about six weeks but now absolutely every single cupboard, storage space and area in my house is organised! It is a literal mental load lifted. Notably, I tackled things I'd put off for years and organised/rearranged areas that I didn't even realise weren't functional until I took the time to stop and think about it. Doing this has made my home and home-life better. Thank you

Good job on your big project!! It looks amazing! My huge project was a storage in the "cellar" of our condo. Its a 24x14 space that was crammed packed of totes, bins, boxes and furniture. The biggest obstacle is that its only 3 feet tall! My goal was to get everything in plastic totes and a path to get to them, also to have them labeled to what was inside each tote. if the family needed something, they would go through totes and boxes, mostly leaving the lids to the side or not closing the boxes. Now we have 7...yes 7 totes, labeled and the thrift store has most of our items. We redecorated our home with things from the storage and making use of things we love. Thank you for the encouragement this month! The Home Store would be my choice if I were to win the gift card. I'm thinking about getting matching curtains and bedspread for the master bedroom!!

Warning: This will be a long comment! I've been wanting to comment for a while to share just how inspiring your channel has been to me. I have my ups and downs when it comes to housekeeping. I am a perfectionist and an overthinker that loves and thrives on organization. This leads to analysis paralysis and everything feels like it takes a long time because I am constantly thinking, anticipating, looking for the "perfect" option and rethinking my decision, if I ever even make one that is. I am also the type of person to want "one and done" type solutions for everything, such as finding a home for something and never changing that ever again. Super unrealistic since life changes and we do have to give ourselves permission to deviate from our set plans. So if I don't have the "perfect" plan for something, I tend to put it off and not deal with it, which just hinders my life and I feel it's so hard to move forward with anything. Visual clutter really effects my mental health, yet at times I feel powerless, overwhelmed, behind and always playing catch up since it feels like I live in perpetual chaos and disorganization. This causes me to feel like I am going in circles and it definitely affects my self esteem because I just don't feel productive and "together" in this part of my adult life. I look around with friends and family and these basic, normal household tasks seem to come easy to them. I am so envious. I want to be that decisive and motivated person to tackle all the messes in my life. I want to be that person that doesn't have anxiety when people want to stop by. Like you, we moved to a new house almost a year ago and I still have boxes that need to be addressed. I also have a craft room/office that is acting like a storage unit and not a space for creativity and productivity. Everything that fit in our last house, doesn't always translate in the new space, since storage options and configurations are always different, which makes it challenging to find a place for everything and can be intimidating and just plain exhausting mentally. Trying to execute the art of settling in after moving all the while taking care of every day life responsibility (because that never takes a day off) gets hard at times. I have enjoyed watching your videos over the last year or so, bought a few printables from you and it really has motivated and inspire me to just go for it, even if its little by little and in spurts here and there. When this spring declutter challenge pop in my email inbox, I was second guessing if I should even attempt it because the perfectionist in me was telling me, if you can't dedicate the proper time, effort and mindset to doing this, don't even attempt it, because in the end you are just setting up yourself for failure and it will just send you into a deeper spiral of "I can't" and self loathing. Then I thought, why on earth do I set the bar so high and demand perfection all the time to the point of talking myself out of something before I even give it a shot? First of all, repeat TSS's mantra: Progress not perfection, secondly stop the excuses because things need to start getting done already. So after snapping out of it, I printed the sheet, watched your daily videos and tried to tackle something every day. I still have a long ways to go, but I do feel like the small tasks and decluttering here and there when I have time and energy this past month has helped tremendously in my mindset and self esteem of feeling like I CAN get it done eventually. It was a huge help having this series and feeling like I am tackling this alongside others who are also struggling in their "house keeping journey." Sometimes my mind still tries to road block me, but on most days this past month, I have been motivated to keep up with small night routines and habits I've adopted and now I can't imagine not doing them daily because it really sets the tone for the next day and because of it, I am more likely to keep going. I am happy to report I took 6 boxes to the thrift store this month! I will continue to be decluttering through spring and probably summer. Just tackling a little at a time so I don't get burned out. Thank you for sharing your journey, tips and tricks, it has really helped me in my journey!

My "gorilla room" (you tell guests not to open THAT door because there's a gorilla in that room) is also my sewing/paper craft room. Possibly because I've been watching your videos, and more probably because I need to get my sewing MOJO back, I've talked myself I to just spending 30 minutes IN the room, doing something. Over 3 days, I ended up picking up, then doing a HUGE declutter of my garment sewing fabrics and ended up with a VERY tidy room. 🎉

I looked forward to this every day. I didn't always follow the theme but it was the motivation I needed to work on something. Thank you for this great series...you've become one of my favorite YTrs. Fantastic job esp. on your craft room...can't wait to see the reno!

Our office closet is our bigger project. Been working on it a bit at a time. Hubby just asked if we can declutter some more tomorrow. (we've been regular declutterers for over 20 years, so it's not like we have a ton, but I find it's still good to go through things once in a while and see what's crept in!)

This daily dose of you has helped us all want to be better stewards of our home! Thank you! I did my silverware drawer yesterday and have started on sheet pan area for big project....I know not big but it is my pet peeve area. Even though I gave up on trying to win gift card I feel you are so kind for picking someone everyday...we all would have watched regardless. Thank you for the motivation you gave and we all enjoy your videos!

Amazing what a huge transformation you made to your craft room/ office. My biggest win was cleaning out my master bathroom drawers and doing a pass through my kitchen. So much better and it really didn't take long at all. Slow and steady wins the race woohoo

A huge obstacle in my craft room is my husband's paperwork. Since you can't clean others stuff, I couldn't reach my stuff. I'm still working on what I can though. I think I have clothes to donate in there. Thank you for this challenge I got so much done over the last month.

It looks fantastic! But, um, I actually liked the room a bit better when there was more stuff covering that carpet.🤣 SUCH 70’s vibes! Seriously, amazing job, you worked hard for that clean floor! 👏👏👏Thank you for posting this series - the motivation was much appreciated. I didn’t get much done on my big project (the unbearable basement room) 😩but dealt with a bunch of smaller spaces. Like you, I try to do the big jobs on weekends, and we have had busy weekends lately. Don’t feel bad about the boxes. WE have moving boxes still unpacked after YEARS. I am pretty sure we don’t need anything in them, but my husband wants to go through each one to make sure we aren’t discarding family heirlooms.😄 They just get shuffled around the basement, year after year. Sigh.

I’ve really enjoyed this month of watching you and getting my own projects done! Right now, I’m working on a scrapbook of our photos and mementos of a trip to China. Which occurred in…2005 😮 When I finish this weekend, it will take care of two piles of clutter, phew!!

Last time, I have plan about cleaning house but overwhelming make me cancel that again and again. And finished with do nothing. Haha. See this channel show me about cleaning step by step on spesific place. And that make me want to do cleaning stuff again. Maybe it's not perfect but now I believe I can do this. Thank you for sharing this video.

Wow! What a change from start to finish! We got rid of a lot of bookshelves because we have very small rooms, but then we had less places for our stuff! Built-ins would be ideal. Can't wait to see what your room is like when you get yours!

My big project was my pictures. I had to go through over 20 photo albums. These pictures were from when I was a baby to my early 20's. I got rid of the blurry pictures and some duplicates. It took a while to organize the picture because I tried to date the pictures and organize them in albums based on the year it was taken and/or the theme.

Thank for the series! I love all the motivation, but I equally find watching others organize cluttered spaces deeply relaxing. Not sure why! LOL. My big project was my attic and this was a great time to tackle it after winter's freezing temps have passed, but before it gets too hot with summer.

I'm really overwhelmed because we are moving from a small one-bedroom apartment that is packed to the ceiling with boxes in almost every room to a three-bedroom ranch home. I really have trouble letting go of things and I probably have a 30 very large boxes that I need to go through. So far, all that I can manage to do is move the small pieces of furniture and the clothing that we currently wear. I've been placing as many items as possible in my car truck and inside my little Sentra every day and we go to the new house once a week for two days to move items inside. Most of the furniture goes into my hubby's SUV. We didn't want to rent a moving van because we don't have anyone to help us move items and the only thing we can do it conduct a VERY SLOW MOVE. I work 12-hour nursing shifts and my husband works 10-hours/day as a technician. I am beyond exhausted, but I know I have to keep going---somehow.

I didn't get time to watch this on the day you released it as I was working on my big project, and I had am now able to decorate it and so the last couple of days that's what I've been doing. Final coat of paint will be going on the walls today and then I can start bringing the furniture back in and have some fun rearranging the room 😀

*whistles* That is SUPER impressive! Thanks for sharing it with us--and the bite-sized chunks that accomplished it. This series made everything feel accessible. I tackled some small things with you over the course of the month (and I was also storing a random mattress that I gave away early in the month), but the BIG one was today. I sold a vehicle I wasn't using. Big emotional declutter and was obviously taking up a LOT of space. Perfect for the final day.

Working on our office area. It is filled with boxes from our move back in after our flood. I have half of it done so far. It is progress. Most of what is left in here belongs to my husband so I am waiting on him to decide what he wants to do with the things packed in there. But it is functioning now as an office. Just a bit cluttered. Thank you so much for the 21 day challenge. I have enjoyed getting motivation from you and working on different parts of my house.
