I'm sorry to hear about your shop not doing as well, ya its really soil sucking that as artist we can't just work on our art. I understand the feeling with instagram. I have alwayed love your vlogs and will keep watching them. I really hope that long form content doesn't go away! With FT work I'm not always fast to watch but I enjoy catching up over time

This year there is a few things Im looking forward too! One definite is that I am making a book for my senior art thesis class! Maybe I'll open up a online shop or Patreon! I also started a youtube which I am excited to start using more!

im a gemini so ur lil talk on making reels got me thinking. im feeling optimistic abt long form media (maybe in part i want it to stay bc i only just started making videos 😢).. so my prediction is that itll last until the generation who enjoys watching long form passes away... like theres still a large population of ppl like u and me who still watch these whether it be in the background or for educational purposes or entertaining purposes. all to say, keep making these videos! i will still watch them! haha

Ah I live in Connecticut, super cool you visited 😅 I love your aesthetic so much. Next year I want a pink tree! I’ve been feeling the same with social media and all the reels and TikTok knock offs. It’s just too much and I hate how you get punished for posting one picture now… I’ve taken a break from social because it’s too draining and I want to build up a queue of stuff to schedule out rather than be constantly on my phone. I think long form videos will continue on because people like myself like to have videos in the background while we work on our own stuff or to learn from. As you said you can’t get that in 30 seconds or less I think they’re good to show off a product or progress, but short form you forget about and while I do get views and likes they often don’t convert to follows and sales.

Do you get your hair done or do you do it yourself ? It’s such a beautiful silver 🤍 also if you see this where is your cute red strawberry rug from *.*

It's so annoying that the IG algorithm doesn't even show me people I follow unless they post reels about their work.

Meggy is actually very tall.

3:00 I'm desperate about reels still, I even bought a phone tripod but I'm just not made for video making and video editing...... 🥲 it really sucks. I have lots of clips but it's super difficult for newbies to make it look nice ?? And all this work for a 15-30 second clip?????? And the worst thing is that most artists are not familiar with video making to make it look nice and all

tbh i just end up editing them on my computer since it's so much easier to see/edit everything without my phone crashing! but it still fills me with dread to put all that work into something that's a few seconds? But maybe I can use clips from my vlog and just work smarter not harder 🥲
