I finally started taking my art seriously again after three years of having given up. I had taken the possibility of doing art as a career off the table after a really negative experience, but seeing these types of videos, young people thriving as artists, has brought back the passion for me. Art is the only thing I was able to see myself doing long-term for most of my life, and seeing other people do it makes me believe that it’s possible again. OMG st John's cathedral in Morningside heights is so cool (thats where that sculpture garden is) - they usually have a bunch of art exhibitions going on in the church. If you're back in Morningside heights (esp right in that area) you should grab something at the Hungarian Pastry Shop on 111th and Amsterdam - the BEST baklava! Happy birthday!

Absolutely glorious chunkous vlog again~ all the birthday celebrations were so fun to watch! I really love seeing all your pretty dresses (actually all your outfits are bomb) but the colours are so nice and the matching makeup is on point! Wish I could say I’ve been doing well but… I’m not. 😢 this economy is hitting my art business so hard, I’m honestly not sure how to hang on. I think I’m going to have to take a break from it and that really hurts.

So fun. Like more women developers. Like glad to see brown people artists in bk cause like when I was there it was like white and East Asians pangs. And like if industrialists want to commercialize their crap maybe stop excluding brown people, it’s so weird and like hello kitty is a cat like is gatekeeping a cat the weapon industrialists want to do to a double bind. It’s so weird and nobody wins. Also There is this weird thing that art and sports r different and like it’s just like there just very male dominated. Like anyone can run around mccaren park like I felt weird working out because running was like get a gym membership and like it’s just kind of cheesy. So fun to see your vlog.
