Lyrics:
Last night I slept alone
I stayed at home
For the first time since you've been gone babe
No friends to understand
To lend a helping hand
To ease the greatest pain I've ever known
How you walked away so easily
Still remains a mystery to me
Don't you remember that you promised me?
Yes you promised me that you'd never leave boy
But you went away babe
And it's such a shame
How could you turn your back on me?
If you really don't want me
If you really don't need me
If you really don't love me
Tell me who do you love?
If you really don't want me
If you really don't need me
If you really don't love me
Then who do you love?

Thank you for sharing this amazing song. Have a great day. 🎶
I remember ALL these 90's back up dancers.... AINT nothing better tan the 90's!! CLASSIC DC jam!!💕
One of my favorite jams....💙 Ain't it sad how many never ever realised just how sane and beautiful the 80's and 90's were, well, because we all thought the times would live one, even after things kept changing. Good music, Classiness, Sensuality. And after we've seen this century go down the drain, such good times will be missed

Sensual lyrics and video ..... not sexualized like modern day music video. I am seek of this generation. I am glad I was born in the 80's.
no wap no twerking,no aggressive talking,no swearing.no sexual no booty in our faces while listening to her just singing a lovely song.not to mention the talent s out the roof.mane i am so glad i was born in the 80 s.
Suddenly I feel so nostalgic. This brings back so many good memories of good days.
Tina Landon choreographed this video that's why you see Janet Jackson's dancers in there. Flex is now married to R&B diva Shanice. :)
Anyone else listening to this in 2019?

My mom had the CD single of this and ended up giving it to me cause it wasn't the one she thought it was. Loved this song since I was 11!
90s will always be the epic of real music and real talent..we are blessed those who enjoyed real music
I’m here for Janet’s dancers in the video. They killed that choreography
