The Mask had one special move that you didn't explore. The mask is actually the Mask of Loki and works using chaos magic. If it's weird, fun, and disruptive, then it's a go. Maximum chaos. He could have removed his mask and placed in on Deadpool to cause super chaos.

No, not even close this is based off the comics versions of both of them. The comic version of the Mask is very different than the movie version of the Mask.

One thing people don't get is Wade can do that too, in fact he does it better as the Mask breaks the forth wall.. Wade breaks its, walks through, and holds a gun to the animators head before returning to the skit and enjoying the benefits. If this video was accurate Wade seeing himself losing would call a time out, hit fast forward like on your phone until its daytime, watch the mask fall off the guys face, say its a shame before brutually killing him and going for chimichanga's. Mask can't do that, he can break the fourth wall, but he can't take it over.

Deadpool knew the show presenters would bring him back by accident and the mask helped him, lol they basically both played the system, it’s a tie. Both have the type of powers and characteristics that would allow them to battle without actually doing it, it was all for show and they had fun with it. It makes sense given they both break the 4th wall.

This is hands down my favorite death battle of all time

While also being insanely hilarious and a fun episode, this battle was Essentially death Battle openly mocking scaling videos or people who make unfair matches just for the sake of seeing another character die or wanting to see their own win.

@@StormGardenHedgefleet We haven't seen the Mask operate on the level of the Infinity Gems/Stones so I wouldn't be too sure about that. The reality stone alone could be enough to separate the mask from the wearer and the entire gauntlet should be able to just deconstruct what the mask is. The gauntlet isn't beaten by anything but plot.

The Mask's abilities can literally be summed up as... "Built different"

The Toph vs Gaara fight was BS. They used the best version of Toph, but stopped at the beginning of Shippuden for Gaara (who has several feats more impressive than Toph). And I'm not even a Naruto fanboy.

Both Deadpool and The Mask were back in storyboarding because they don't have enough money to pay the animators for this Death Battle, which is pretty clever for 4th Wall Breaking.

The storyboard scene is probably the best part of the entire battle😂

I expected this one to be a hoot, and it delivered. Not only was the actual fight funny, but Boomstick’s annoyance with Deadpool was hilarious. Kudos to however wrote the script. This battle had a lot more dialogue than most, and the combatants’ distinctive speech patterns were replicated perfectly. Mask/Bighead’s voice actor did a perfect Jim Carrey impression.

Deadpool's hubris caught up with him, he never stood a chance against an actual cartoon character.

You know there are certain rules regarding not always using composites but seeing D.B. used them equally well yeah The Mask obviously wins. Though that purple gem and a gun that erases beings from history should have been a trump card for D.P. but seeing this is a composite overall Mask is just FAR FASTER to let Deadpool even have a chance to do so.

He's fast enough to keep up with Lobo who's Massively FTL+ alone actually seeing Lobo fought the justice league including Superman and whatnot, obviously FAR FASTER than anything Deadpool has done who only thus far has shown to react to a great degree of lighting and should scale to Cap as mentioned before D.P. did catch his shield, Cap is also no stranger to dodging such similitude regarding lighting as he and Spiderman have reacted to Electro's lighting which has actually been calculated to reach the Mach 1000 category, Crazy isn't it? You gotta give credit where credit is do, Dead Pool is one tricky badass to kill to some extent but does fail in comparison of the Mask's though and since the Mask is a complete lunatic what makes you think he will wait for D.P. to ever have a chance to use such abilities?

@@krystallinekris The Mask uses the rule of funny to overcome damage of all sorts. But like Roger Rabbit escaping handcuffs, only *if* it is funny. Hit him with a cease to have ever existed beam and he could shrug it off by saying, "Where was this when they got Jamie Kennedy to play me? In fact, let me borrow that, there's a warehouse of unsold DVDs I need to take care of . . . " Or something similar. Kinda like Deadpool 2 when he shoots Ryan Reynolds for accepting Green Lantern or kills the Wolverine version of himself. If it's funny it is allowed. So I think The Mask could "say no" to the damage if he could make a joke out of it.

It’s interesting that when Deadpool realize he was being set up, he went back to his traditional means of combat over the god powers. “I’ve gone far from my reality”, yes you have dead pool, you are far from the mercenary you initially wanted to be. Godlike power was never meant for a you.

Daisuke L Well to be honest, there are some battles that hurt us, and other that we hate. The first pokemon verus digimon battle in my opinion at least, while will upset most people cause their childhood was killed, is logical to say at least. Charizard isn't powerfully enough to destroy countries like some or most mega stage digimon. At least the dog pokemon vs fox digimon fight is more even cause they were fighting without outside help, which what caused red to lose last time.

Im fairly certain it is THE most powerful character DB has ever had. Becuase ToonForce is undefeatable. Bugs bunny can defeat thanos with ease. Jerry can stomp the justice league. And Mask is far stronger than any of the toon force characters. They bend he plot to suit their needs. Sort of like Mary Sues, however they do it in a way that how dark jokes are funny(or can be) and death threaths are not.

Unbelievably powerful to the point where the character can ignore anything like a super cool badass OP fan OC of epic power and super cool strength, but only as long as the writers want it.

I like to think the animators and actors had a lot of fun making this fight

I’M ALREADY WEARING IT!!!” Yeah, it was at that moment that I truly realized, Deadpool truly stood no chance Despite his powers, he still has human limitations, whereas the mask…is equal to ACTUAL GODS!!! NOTHING CAN BEAT HIM BECAUSE SO LONG AS HE CHOOSES TO, HE CAN JUST DECIDE NOT TO TAKE DAMAGE, THE MASK CANNOT BE STOPPED

I just realized. Deadpool vs Deathstroke they did 3D. Deadpool vs Pinkie Pie they did pixel art. Deadpool vs the Mask they did hand drawn animation. If Wade comes back for a fourth battle the only thing left would be one of their rare live action fights lol

That toon force definition is excellent, actually. That's precisely what characters like Pinkie from MLP do: break physics, but only if it's funny, so they sometimes end up in dangerous situations they should be able to handle if they drew on their entire powerset.

I think impossible man would be a great adversary for the mask they are basically exactly alike in terms of powers he even mention that “if it isn’t funny he’d hate to do it” everything about him would be a great possible choice for a future matchup against the mask

@DAT BOI Here is the problem with putting anyone up against the mask. If the mask is on a person and he wants to fight you, you have already lost. If this was a "fight" between mask and thanos, mask wins. If this was just some fanfic about thanos snapping his fingers to erase the mask before the mask even knows whats happening, then yeah sure. The mask literally just has to say "no" and everything else is irrelevant. He could be like "oh honey those MUST be defective! Here let me get you some new ones! *puts some clown gloves on thanos* Thats better!!!" That would be the end of it.
