I feel like mob would win because his powers go far beyond telekinesis, he could literally take her energy from her, get inside her mind, possess her, and mess with her psychologically to obliterate her. If she could kill him before he went into ???% mode then she might win, but at max power, I feel like hes just far more versatile.

Tatsumaki shows resistance to any kind of psy attacks, along with the fact that she is much more experienced than Mob, also, many people overstimate Shigeo's Powers, Im a huge fan of MP100, but Mob literally didn't even reach the national level or have powers that can knockout more powerfull characters, or at least MASSIVELLY more powerfull characters, this own video is dramatised, cause Tatsumaki wont even have to play or struggle with Mob, he wont even be a Dragon Treat level in OPM (maybe a low dragon, but nothing beyond that)

@@ZiroWatt I must tell you that Mob dont reach those power levels in any case, Mob is a character wuth a huge variety of Kinesis Powers, with his emotions I must say that he his more versatil (only in terms of variety of Kinesis) than Tatsu, but thats all, Mob never show any feat who reach even the National Level, during his fight against Toshinori, Mob explode a numver of 7/8 times, multiplying his power on his almost limit, reaching the 800%, being his limit the 1000% by the fact that Reigen 1000% take all the Mobs Powers... and with the power that Mob shows, he is barelly able to lift the entire Condiment City... but thats all, the Giant Broccoli is just a proff of how Mob's powers are abble to evolve living things, cause this broccoli become so big by Mob's powers influence... but this is just a brute freat of his strenght, not Realitty bending (Mob cannot warp realitty or nothing similar and the Mogami arc is a good proff of this, also, Mogami is just a realitty warper on his own dimension)... and Mob ???% is not so powerfull as people think, first of all bevause Mob is not able to think or having strategies, is just pure unleashed power, even Mob 100% Animosity is more "thinker" than this version, and his power isnt something that can put Mob in a National Buster level, along with the fact that he is not invencible or unbeateable on this state, Mob is more like a medium fish in a river with pretty small fishes, so It make him look so powerfull, but Tatsumaki is in a completelly different level, she us able to tank Continental Cutter attacks like a tiny breeze, able to stop High Multi-Continental Buster Attacks like a joke and create an Spear out of the rest if City Z (citys in OPM are like countries in irl) with the size of a giant country while she literally laughting, amd this happened after God, the most powerfull entity besides Saitama in OPM, weakened her powers to make Psychos Wins the fight, and that wasnt enought to stop the Tornado of Terror... she is simply in a hole other leage of scalling that Mob is not able to being compared . Note: There is no abilitty of Mob who can even being a problen for Tatsu, in ???% he dont awake anything new and the raw power, strenght, speed, resistance and any other feat of Tatsumaki surpass Mob in all senses that its impossible for him to compare his powers... I think Mob would be a Class S hero, maybe around Alloy DarkShine and Drive Knight in power level... but he cant enter in the list beyond Genos

In Season 3, God Dimple claimed he could take over the world if he can harness power from the minds of everybody on Earth, basically ONE’s way of saying God Dimple at his maximum strength can be a Planet Buster. But Mob doesn’t need to absorb energy from people, he can absorb them from objects as well. It doesn’t even really affect the fight that much that in his ??? state, Mob fights purely on instincts and without conscious. Sure he may not be able to strategize anything, but has he really ever even done that while having full consciousness? The biggest drawback to ??? is that he can go too far and attack his own friends or kill people, considering ???’s power has only been shown twice in the entire series, each time it doesn’t even use its full potential. Toiichiro was able to put on a good fight against Mob when Mob’s in his 100% state, but gets completely bodied by a ??? that’s just trying to deliver flowers to a girl. Considering how ??? subconsciously fulfills Mob’s desires while he was conscious, I say it’s very possible that in that state Mob can destroy the entire planet should he wish for it before going unconscious. Even ONE himself stated that he’s unsure of who would win between Tatsumaki and Mob when he fights serious.

Not that they don't get those wrong sometimes (looking at you ben10 & green lantern fight), but so far pretty much every argument about 'why mob wins' was either addressed, or unfounded fanboy claims like 'his power is literally infinite when in ???% mode' even though there's no evidence of it and DB can only go based on the feats that are shown. Even things like 'well what about the tornado he was emitting when in ???% mode and just walking destroying the city' and like, if you calculate that out its still pitifully low compared to the gigatons of tnt power output Tats has. Which sucks cause I like Mob more

I love the reasons death battles gives to make them fight As a person who watches the anime one punch man I can say that Tatsumaki won’t get mad over some chill dude asking for help, she would ignore him but she wouldn’t go that far. The only times she will actively attack someone is if they talk bad about her and she knows they can take an attack from her or she’ll just vaporize them for talking bad about her sister/threatening her. Also Mob seems like a chill dude. I know you need to give them a reason to fight, just saying for those who don’t know, Tatsumaki isn’t THIS heartless.

Way back when this series first began they used to explain that the circumstances initiating the fight are irrelevant: They remove any and all morale qualms the characters might have to more or less “cut to the chase”.

Damn, Chapter 177 of One Punch Man, I think if I'm remembering correctly, has Tatsumaki be turned into a pretzel and then she puts herself back to normal with a side comment of it hurting a little. I think the mangaka saw this battle and wanted to make that last scene of her fixing herself canon.

Well, it’s possible, but it could also be a reference to the same thing this battle is referencing- when Toichiro Suzuki from MP100 had the same thing happen to him. But the best part? Tatsumaki’s comment about hurting was to Fubuki in reference to her being about to rip out the poison capsule the enemy slipped her. She didn’t make any comment about what the guy had done to her- in other words, she completely no-sold getting Gordian Knotified.

I'm sorry, but considering that in the video they already stated that Mob can do both offense and defense simultaneously and Tatsumaki can only concentrate on one or the other, even despite the training difference, she would lose more than she would win. This is apart from the fact that she got a head injury during this fight and it was shown that Mob can withstand all the damage she tries to inflict on him twice over. Mob has already faced opponents with far more experience and training, some even on equal footing to Tatsumaki, and still won. So even though this was an entertaining theory, I will be respectfully disagreeing with the outcome xD

Since Mob's strength is not like that, and remember Tatsumaki also has a lot of experience, and also Tatsumaki managed to defeat monsters with the power of the continent, Tatsumaki's strength also in the latest chapter of OPM showed that her telekinesis power is on par with the continent

Next to that, mob has already defeated multiple people with more experience than himself who were also perceived to be more powerful - think the Boss of Claw and Keiji Mogami. To put it simply, as I've said before in my first statement: Mob would win more than he would lose due to the fact that he can simultaneously defend and attack where Tatsumaki can not.

For those saying that her head injury should’ve prevented her from pulling the meteor down, she actually pulled it down BEFORE she got hit. All she did afterwards was destroy his shield so he wouldn’t absorb the impact. Even if they did move from the location she pulled it down from, it’s still a big ass meteor. It wouldv’e still taken up most of that general area. We got a shot of Mob pinned down from it instead of him directly underneath it. Rewatch the video & stop complaining.

realistically that doesn't make sense. And this isn't a I wanted mob to win comment but I feel like the is such a convenient win. if she yanked a meteor from space a pulled it to the earths the velocity or speed the meteorite wouldn't be as fast if it were pulled from space because how much more acceleration their would be for meteorite. and higher acceleration and speed = power so if the meteorite was closer it wouldn't have been has impactful and it shouldn't have done that much damage. Also not to mention that it just feels a bit cheated imo. Cus that means that tatsumaki was bound to win from start because she had the meteorite on stand by, If she didn't pull the meteorite than would that mean tatsumaki would still won, we wouldn't necessarily know. Thus I feel like it would have been more natural if she just couldn't pull the meteorite attack off at all becasue of the head injury OR she found a different way to win

Except that even ???%'s power never goes beyond the city. Whereas Tatsumaki can stop a barrage that destroyed an even larger city, without effort. When she actually tries, she is blocking attacks from a continent slicer.

Anything that happens there is just for fun and to be epic, it’s meant to be a fun way to show the winner cause otherwise it’d be boring. @@psych_shock4370 Yeh totally, so you could likely upscale Mob’s feat bunch. However the gap is a fair bit too big for that really matter too much, and in the first place all of Tatsumaki’s feats were done incredibly casually(the 470 gigaton feat was literally done with a flick of the wrist, instantly. She didn’t even get winded or phased by it, it was a zero effort feat), meaning Tatsumaki upscales just as much(even her current multi-continental level feats against Psykorochi were also when she was holding back and had sustained a head injury, and even then she had the capability to tear Psykorochi asunder herself. Making all notions of upscaling pretty pointless against her). Also, even in ???, all of his feats in the state still didn’t go beyond the city he was in even by the end of Manga when multiple characters, including himself, were fighting it. As this was also a plot point for why Tsubomi could wait for Mob’s confession in spite of him currently raging out in ???, cause the damage didn’t reach her as it only extended up to Spice City.

The point still stands that it still didn’t extend to the town he was in, the gap is still too big, and Tatsumaki’s feat, despite requiring her to still at least move, was still super duper casual(again, literally as easy as the flip of a wrist) and ergo just as affected by upscaling as Mob’s. Plus, it’s unlikely that he wouldn’t have been exerting a fair amount in cases like when the flowers were destroyed or when people kept trying to stop him. As well as his “self’s” statement of “I’ll make sure nothing gets in my way…” in Chapter 100 and him visibly trying to target and kill everyone afterwards. But even in those cases, the damage still didn’t extend passed Spice City

Oh, this one still hurts. I love both these characters. I just want Tatsumaki to be reluctantly impressed by Mob's psychic abilities and offer to give him a lesson or two sometime. I think he'd accept but only if she only taught him things that would help with defense or helping others rather than causing harm; she'd raise her eyebrows at this but go along with it- fine if the kid doesn't want to hurt people, long as he knows monsters aren't people and that he has to be strong enough to save himself before he can save others. (Bonus points if Tatsumaki calls her sister over to say "Fubuki I found you a training partner he's an esper like us" and Fubuki's just like "This is a CHILD-")

And he keeps getting better and better with the upgrades... it’s just that he tends to go all out on monsters that are WAY more powerful that him just for Saitama to step in. Genos is actually pretty powerful and capable, but still he isn’t even close to Tatsumaki’s power. Look for some of he’s feats: Destroy the whole “house of evolution” in a single heat blow at his less powerful state and with no effort, burn from the inside a several km Dragon level centipede... people underestimate Genos a lot these days.

(In the more recent chapters, she was able to block an attack that shaved off a continent, destroyed the gigantic monstrosity who did that on a cellular level, and make 2 city spanning barriers, one of which was inverted. And this was all after getting a head injury)

As a Mob Psycho 100 fan I agree that Tatsumaki solos, because Tatsumaki is more experienced and her telekenesis is WAY MORE stronger.

In Mob's fight against Mogami he obliterates an entire dimension, after tanking a planet-busting attack with no damage, so... yeah, seems like you missed out on some details here. Mob held all of the advantages (attack and defend simultaneously, absorbs psychic powers, anything he can't absorb he can transfer to things like broccoli seeds) so Tatsumaki's only path to victory would be a huge numbers advantage. Her numbers weren't huge and it turns out Mob had better ones anyway.

The only one missing details are you. Mogami only created a city and some surrounding land with spirits weaker than building level. ???% destroyed them all, meaning it is less than a city level feat because they are weaker than the city, hence why when ???% rampages across his actual home city, he never causes damage beyond his immediate area. And the mental world is already blank, destroying the false one to reveal the blank one doesn't mean the mental world is destroyed. Mob's ability to attack and defend at the same time is countered by Tatsumaki's speed, her power is too great for him to fully absorb, he doesn't carry around anything to take the energy for him, and she can just shut down any and all of his powers.

Mob could just take/absorb her powers and so what if he has a limit if you were actually paying attention you would notice that in season 3, when mob was in his strongest, he made such a gap in the power level of claws boss so he probably transferred the energy to save himself from harm/not get himself more hurt than he already was, and the lightning thing might not be his max speed same with tatsumaki yada yada so the speed isn't actually known for both of them. This is not realistic at all

Afrid zmn He said that at normal she beats him, he doesn’t know what happens above that, so they had to calculate it, and her displayed level of power was way above his even at that level. Stop trying to use the creators comment to try and support yourself, your just twisting it into something it’s not.

I have a question Why didn’t the meteorite kill her along with the mob? Since its speed and mass were so great, and at that moment she was not under her own mental protection, then the impact of the meteorite (which killed the guy whom she crushed for several minutes with two larger pieces of earth) should not have been so weak for the area and should have killed her too

Aint no way she really just KILLED a middle schooler just because of some directions Mob: "Do you know where-" Tatsumaki: "So any last words?"

Given Tatsumaki's recent feats in the manga against Psyrochi, she is even more ridiculously powerful than we thought.

You guys are missing the obvious. Mob won't fight to kill unless he's able to bring out the rage, which begins at 100%. The second that Tatsumaki feels an opponent is strong or an enemy, she would blitz him off this planet. She has no compassion, makes instant decisions to kill and hates monsters. She would feel Mob was a monster and yank his head from his body, the minute he resisted a little.

@@PsychoMagnet Mob completely demolished Suzuki to the point he almost nuked himself in stress from the fight, which would´ve been a lose-lose tie with both characters. Meanwhile Tatsumaki can throw meteors yeah, it´s not even a match, there are things mob cant stop, if he couldnt stop a psychic nuke then very likely he cant stop meteors either.

@@evang.sunshine9459 That probably shows the difference between how Mob and Tatsumaki's powers work, and something of an understated advantage Tatsumaki inherently has over Mob. Mob at 100% and ???% is extremely powerful, but *only* because he's lost himself to raw, imprecise emotion - in this case, rage. Mob was so fed up with her that he forgot that breaking an esper's body does nothing to actually impede their psychic power... something Tatsumaki promptly reminded him of by thinking ahead and grabbing a meteor without him even noticing ("You should pay more attention!"), since unlike Mob, Tatsumaki can fight at her best while still thinking things through... even if she's a brat while doing so.

Yeah she just seemed like a bully. Here was a lost child, asking for directions. And you decide to attack the child, instead of helping him? Also if he was anyone else, he would have died from being smashed into the concrete. So what did she expect him to die, or have powers to save him and then not try and fight back against this bully? I get that they need the characters to fight, but this introduction just puts a bad taste in my mouth.

ik I'm late but this battle makes no sense 1. mob isnt more offensive he's more of a defensive character 2. mob's rage only increases3-5% when he's being attacked but here it goes high from 10%-20% 3. mob doesn't attack so in the beginning when mob attacks back at tatsumaki when tatsumaki threw rubble at mob it was nonsense

mob was able to exist his spiritual form to possess mogami during his first appearence, and during the same fight mob was shown to be able to destroy or at least survive an earth destroying attack from the combined force of mogami’s evil spirits, which is comparable to boros’s falling star roaring cannon, hes also been seen to regenerate his arm after it was dest in mogami’s mindscape, also even if tatsumaki has more overall fighting experience, mob has more experience fighting espers above all else except maybe evil spirits

He used it to enter Minori's already-possessed mind to confront Mogami. He did not possess her nor Mogami, he just entered her mind. But even then (as noted in the top right tab of 19:35), it's unlikely it'd work anyway (similarly, Fubuki could resist the mind control of Do-S, and Tatsumaki should have similar, if not greater mental fortitude. Making it unlikely for Mob to control her body even then). That's within Mogami's fake world within the "realm of the mind", which is more of an illusion-breaking feat and doesn't have much to really justify it scaling to his real-world output (especially since he can do stuff like regenerate his arm, from being impaled, or from his entire body being eaten. Which he absolutely cannot do in the real world). And even then, we are not given a defined size for how big this fake world actually is, the biggest overhead scope we have in the Manga is that it has a copy of Spice City in it (which we already knew). But there's no evidence that it's an entire planet or extended farther than that (no mountains, oceans, continents, etc.). That's mostly from overpowering them.
