You don't mention it in the video, but these are two stage burners. The main port you cleaned is for the low, medium, high settings. But there's a second port for the simmer ring that is below the main ring. The igniter ignites the simmer ring, so you need to access and clean that port as well. (very difficult)

Your oven has an electric glow igniter I think so it should light on its own when you call for heat👍

Thanks for the tips. Cleaning the ignitor works. The problem I'm having is that the flame is not burning consistently all the way around. The flame comes out higher on some sides.

I think you need to move the little air shutter so the opening is smaller to send more gas to the burner👍

Thanks for the video, it was very informative. I was recently trying to disassemble and clean the D base assembly and upper parts and after removing the large nut for the venturi I then used a 20mm socket to attempt to unscrew it from the stovetop. I wasn't budging and applying too much force I guess I heard an odd sound and I thought something broke. I was no able to free the venturi and sure enough the gas line must have snapped inside the stove as gas no longer flows up the venturi. I does appear replacement gas lines and some parts are available or this stove (RDS-364GL) but any advice how I can get these venturi's unscrewed so I can remove the top to repair the broken gas line? I have not slid the stove out of the cabinetry yet but is there access to the underside of the stovetop from the rear? I'm thinking I may need to secure whatever the venturi screws in to (I think it's the Jet Holder based on the parts diagram) rom the underside which working the venturi from the top. Suggestions?

Aah Mike, I feel your pain. I’ve had that happen also. I had to drill out the brass Venturi and pull out the broken pieces so I could get in there and replace the gas line. Maybe spray some break free around the other venturis and let it soak in overnight. Might need to order a few more new venturis.

i use the same procedure. However, I have a situation with one burner. it lights but the sparks don't stop or come on intermittently while the burner has flame...

Can you super clean all the metal parts. It sounds like a bad ground and cleaning should do it👍

@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance ok, how about when one burner's spark starts anly when I turn the knob to the low setting. this DCS' knobs start the spark at the high setting.

My DCS range had spill on one burner which rendered it useless. I'm trying to fix it. I went and replaced the simmer orifice. When operated the burner, the simmer ring ignited but not the main burner. So replaced the main orifice. Now the simmer flame won't ignite or the main flame. Any thoughts?
