Regular theater was enough for me. I jumped at almost every gunshot because most of the film is quiet and then BAM there’s a shot going off. I’d probably have a heart attack in the IMAX showing 😂. People think this is an action film. It’s not. It’s a slow burn drama film thats tense and has the most action in the final 20mins or so. It’s a good movie though. I’d recommend.

@@saturn_illus Same here. I felt bad for the guy sitting next to me because I kept jumping so much. The movie was intense to and I felt like at any time something could blow up or they could be attacked. They did a great job of bringing that kind of intensity to the film. Idk if I’d have the same jumpy reactions if the film wasn’t as intense as it was. I saw John Wick 4 in IMAX and nothing made me jump in that one and that film was insanely loud and bassy in IMAX.

I see it right here on KZread. I've realised the one thing this was lacking. It got all the realistic civil war tropes right - multi sided, strange bedfellows, everyone wearing the same camo, neutrals, psychopaths taking advantage of the situation, atrocities, massacres. But the one thing lacking are mercenaries, or "volunteers". Civil wars attract them and America with it's huge borders and easy access to guns should have made it really attractive.

For the reasons someone else stated, none of the sides are going to want democracy to survive to a degree that doesn't favor their agenda or else they fought/died for nothing. Doesn't matter who the 'good guys' are. Civil war = dictatorship way more often than not. Again though ... it won't. The only thing that changes this is if they allow immigrants to join the military. Well then, when that happens... then shit 'might' hit the fan, in time. And I'm sure it is a plan for some crazy far lefties and why they push it on the hill as their realistic voter base evaporates

As both California and Texas are part of the broader Hispanic U.S. there may be common ground there, which puts me in mind of either a film or television drama serial of a few decades back that I saw on British television that was a bit like 'Civil War' in that it was imagining a war in the near to medium-term future where the UK, in an alliance with various other European nations, was at war with a U.S. where Spanish had taken over as the official language, allied to other North, Central and South American nations. It was a very interesting premise and I'll have to look into what it was called as I've forgotten that, sadly.

That was the WORST portrayal of an Apache attack helicopter I have ever seen in recent memory. It doesn’t sound proper in the way it’s rotor. Blades are supposed to sound. The chin mounted gun is not correct. And really there’s just a whole lot of other things. It almost sounds like the production team took the sound of something like a bell Ranger for the rotor noise. And the gun sounds more like a turbine, spinning up. Which no gun in at least the American arsenal sounds like that. The closest thing maybe would be the Dillon minigun.

Hey, worked around Military Aircraft a fair bit of time and have seen this in cinemas in IMAX. Rotor sound was 100% accurate in cinemas, sounded like an apache. The rate of fire of the gun was incorrect however it didn’t seem like it was operating the standard 30MM on the apache and seems to be a modified M-134. Please see this movie in theatres, will not disappoint! This apache scene was awesome in cinemas!

@@Jason-eu5zx on you. I don’t play call of duty. In fact, I haven’t played a call of duty game since probably world at war. If that. No. My expertise comes from the simple fact that I was an army brat as a kid. And while my family members, none of them were a Apache pilots or anything it wasn’t uncommon to have them around. Well, I can forgive the sounds of the rotors slightly. The gun however, is completely false. First off it sounds like as I said before. Something similar to like a turbo charger or some kind of spinning up. Secondly the fire rate is way too high. Unlike the OBRA family of combat helicopters used by the Marines. Which is armed with a three barrel rotary canon. An Apache is armed with a single barrel canon. And it doesn’t fire that quickly quickly. In a way I get where your thoughts of the video game things come from. Because well, let’s face it. This happens a lot. You have people that play certain video games, long enough and then all of a sudden they think they are experts in these kinds of things. You have someone who plays a game like war or world of tanks and all of a sudden they are an expert and armored warfare. but you also need to take consideration the fact that they are out there that have either real world exposure to the thing in question or they’ve done research.

  • @ultrajd

@@nicolasmun13 even if it is a movie and normally you would say that suspension of disbelief could be taken. There are certain aspects that at least in my opinion don’t need to be so blatantly incorrect. Seriously. You can find soundbites of actual Apache helicopters flying, and firing their guns. and they both sound nothing like this. For the most part, I am completely willing to overlook the sound of the rotors. But the guns noise is a completely different story. Firstly, not only is it the sound but it’s also the rate of fire. The rate of fire gives it the impression that the Apache is armed with something similar to a Cobra attack helicopter. And while the cobra has a triple barrel rotary canon. The Apache on the other hand has only a single barrel canon. And it doesn’t fire that quickly. If a single barrel cannon fired at that high of a rate of fire, the barrel would overheat, relatively quickly.

The back blast energy from the explosion alone could force the ship back and it's rotors could strike any number of things (telephone wires, lamp posts, walls, etc.).
