This video is of our trip to Twillingate, Newfoundland. We see an iceberg and see the iceberg start falling apart. Whales are swimming near the iceberg.

    Hello, We're going there this June 14, do you think that we'll be able to see icebergs from the shore ? Going to visit the lighthouse and hike at the cove. Maybe go on a boat tour. thank you.

    We were much later then your date. So, yes you may see more than one. We saw the one at Twillingate and another one at Goose Cove later. The iceberg at Goose Cove was very large and moving thru the ocean whereas the floundering iceberg at Twillingate was trapped to the bottom.

    The right word for an iceberg breaking up is called foundering or it has foundered once its over
