Very nice video about Alcobaça. There's a porrtuguese song wich lyrics are "Quem passa por Alcobaça, não passa sem lá voltar" (who cames in Alcobaça, has to come back") and that make senses because it's a friendly place with an important monastery from the XII century founded in the times of first portuguese king, Afonso Henriques. One the best and very close to Lisbon is Mafra, fill at last to me all the boxes. First you pay for your rent half of the price in Lisbon. It's a very clean with lots of green spaces and very, very safe. Close of great beaches like Ericeira, Foz do Lisandro and even Cascais. With the biggest market in Portugal (very cheap lat time there i live in Odivelas is not so close, i buy 2 kg of big Oranges for 1€) it's called Feira da Malveira. With great highways to every corner of the country A21, A8 and A16 highways, close by the biggest airport in Portugal, if you want to visit your country in less than 30 minutes by car of Lisbon and without traffic jams.
