This is a super effort and it warms my heart that my team feel so passionate about the dingoes that they want to share them with the world. The world needs to view dingoes with enormous respect for the miracle pocket rockets they are and the enormous 24/7 job they silently do our there in our bush, suppressing foxes and cats, and keeping herbivores from over populating. True apex predators, and Australia's answer to the lion.

Couldn't agree more Lyn. We thank you for allowing us to volunteer within the organisation and have such an immense amount of respect, love and care for the dingoes. ❤

Thank you for your work I saw the show on ACA tonight and now have subscribed to your Channel. My heart just sank. I had two cross cattle quarter dingo dogs not related and 9 years apart in age, they were such a joy. Jah lived to 18 and Gus unfortunately only 12 he was a much bigger dog people mistook him for a cross with Labrador so we think he possibly was a throw back from the Alpine dingo. They were such a joy in my life and I absolutely adored their howling sessions together and we could ask Gus to speak by saying speak up and he would asking him different questions and he would give different growls. The dingo breed is so misjudged 🐶🐶 they are such loving pets and such an asset to our environment. Why if they are such a threat didn’t past indigenous generations cull them, something to think about.

Hello!! I am so thankful for this channel! I am in the US and I recently adopted a dog from our local animal rescue and they said she is a "German Shepard Mix". Well the more we looked at her after we got her home we realized she does not look anything like a true German Shepard Mix of any kind we have seen before. lol She is super flexible, her face is narrow similar to a fox or something, and her body shape is narrow and lean and muscular. Also her mannerisms are not that of a house dog/family pet. She does not want to be cuddled for one thing. when she sees other animals of any kind the hair goes up on her back and she starts barking like crazy. She honestly doesn't really bark any other time though. Anyways my 10yr old son looked online and discovered that there are certain things that set Dingo's apart from typical house dogs and our 4 legged girl has pretty much ALL of the traits! Your channel has helped us and I appreciate all your content. I just discovered you so I have a lot of catching up to do! I just want our girl to relax and except that she is very loved by me and my 3 kids. We have had her 8wks tomorrow. The other thing I hope she learns is to walk on a leash because she is so strong and lunges towards any other animal she sees and barks like crazy. I don't think she would bite but I don't want to take the chance. Again thank you!! Oh and in America our Dingo's are called I think Carolina Dingo's?

Hey Michelle, thanks for commenting! Dingoes are actually only found in Australia. They are our only top order land predator. Our version of a wolf or coyote, though they can form bonds with humans. The Carolina dog is a dog breed that people call an American dingo but they aren’t dingoes at all. Your girl sounds gorgeous, would you like to send some photos through our Instagram or email?

I have a Thailand Dingo. Looks and act exactly the same. I can't even tell the difference other then she is not to friendly other then family and people she see's a lot. All she does outside is dig and hunt. I live in Long Island NY so she goes at Rabbits Raccoons Cats and basically any animal in her yard. She never goes after dogs unless they express dominance or if it is a very little dog. I do love her to death if I do say so :)

Good question 🐾 They don’t play fetch. Dingoes will chase things and pounce on them but they will never bring them back. They are more like cats in this way.

What kind of tree is the hollow log at approximately 3:40 from the end in this video? It reminds me of the Live Oak we have here in the Southeast United States. It is a very hard twisted wood. It was used in the construction of the US naval vessel the Constitution, which was nick named Old Iron Sides because cannon balls would bounce of of the sides
