There's a strong chance the replacement knows a lot about the champ while the same usually can't be said for the other way around. That's why there is often upsets when this happens... But what happens when the rematches come? They come back and dominate because they now know exactly what kind of fighter they're dealing with so they can prep accordingly. I was attending this fight at the staples center, the crowd was so electric for both fighters it was unreal. I had the opportunity to meet Tank’s mom and one of his corner members after the fight, and they were incredibly humble and nice and gave me some advice for boxing. Crazy how fast time flies.

The highlights between rounds are hilarious...they think they are showing Davis's big punches but they all just hit Cruzs gloves.

This fight should have been a DRAW!!! I would even give an edge to Cruz. The bodywork was amazing and had Davis buckled numerous times. Cruz was not hurt at all in this fight.

@@eclass1865 I think it is, I've heard many referees tell a fighter, ' no measuring'. It's not really measuring anything, it's using the off hand to prevent the opponent from coming forward. A glove held an inch from your forward acts as a blocker , the other fighter can't make a quick move forward to throw a punch. You have to duck or dodge around the glove and arm to get closer to the opponent.
