Season 2 was full of bad writing. The entire 2. season was a disappointment. Dull and with next to no story phasing. Not to mention all the unwatchable woke nonsense.. What a let down from the brilliant 1. season which was based on the book.

I forced a friend of mine yesterday to watch season 2 with me because she hadn’t watched it yet - but I had - and it was quite the exquisite experience to finally be able to have a second person next to me also scream violently at the tv screen during the finale. Somewhat healed the trauma. But only somewhat. (Looking forward to season 3)

Me as well... I bullied several people to start watching GO... Now I've had them already hooked over the weekend. 😂 It's so funny, because all are completely different people like my husband who dislikes TV shows (his face in the beginning: 😑? his face at the end: 😳🥺), my co-workers (all guys), my mother and father in law and several gym buddies. 😂😂😂 This TV show really unites people, regardless of age, gender etc.

What a season... I was confused for a while because I couldn't tell where things were headed and why we were being shown certain scenes, but after the final episode, the themes all clicked perfectly into place and I realised what a beautifully romantic and philosophical story it had been. Definitely need to watch the whole thing again now, so that I can really appreciate it.

I love how on staged David and Michael constantly bickering but in interviews they make themselves laugh

That's not the issue. The issue is Amazon greenlighting - paying for - Season 3. E.g. the ratings have to be high enough. And demands from fans. All these companies worry about their stock.

this show is so great but it makes it even better bc you can tell the people involved love it just as much as the fans and love the characters and the ppl they work with

I adore the natural chemistry , bond and blinding talent of David and Micheal.. both sharpest, charasmatic in Brit tool box and yet enjoyfully distinct. Damn hope more series together... fantasy or crime etc..

series 1 included a lot of characters and plots - as it was based on the book - but series 2 really focused on Aziraphale and Crowley, with other characters being their support. and I really loved that new direction. (of course I did not enjoy having my heart ripped out at the end, but even then...)

@@Gutlepopo The thing is that due to the writers strike Neil Gaiman cannot work on the script and the only things he already worked on is the first and the last episode. Add the time filming takes and a year of post-production (according to Neil) and that's why 2026 is considered the year most likely for season 3 to come out.
