My favourite part of that scene, especially early on when there were issues with the subtitles and it said, I swear on my life this is true, amongst the words that Crowley was saying, it said the word ‘smut’ right when Aziraphale was smiling that smitten smile of his.

"you can only tell if humans are in love by waiting a few days because humans are weird and that's how it works." So true yet so false 🤣

Although the end kills me, it is so gorgeously played out. I love how so incredibly frustrated Crowley’s voice is, how he looks around the room to avoid crying, how he like growls mid sentence when trying to explain his feelings. It was so well done.

My head canon is that Aziraphale has a room in the wine cellar filled with his diaries and most of them are him rambling about his love hate relationship with Crowley

@@Fandomsaremylifee I see Aziraphale having plenty of insecurities and inner conflicts about things like his eating habits or other stuff he's criticized for by Upstairs (and about The Arrangement) but homophobia seems way too human-invented (and invented very late in history) for him to care about.

1:30--One of the very, very few times we see Crowley refusing Az anything! I'm surprised he actually stuck to his guns and didn't let him leave it yellow while on the trip.

I just realized that the only two times we see Crowley deliberately take his sunglasses off to make someone see how angry he is is the “I long to destroy Job’s children” scene and the “and I did not care for it” scene and idk what to do with that information

When it came to Job, I think it was about him wanting Az to remember that he was a demon, as he’d started implying that he was nice and stuff by that point already and he needed his shields in place. But with Gabriel, I reckon that was because that scene just wouldn’t have had the same kick without seeing his eyes. We needed to see the emotion in them when he expressed that painful anger.

I always thought it was a bit of emotional vulnerability, even when he's angry in those moments. Which makes it even more sad for me when he takes his glasses off to confess to Aziraphale but then promptly puts them back on when he is rejected.

6:57--"Us time." Crowley, you still needed Maggie and Nina to talk you into realizing your feelings, you silly demon?

"But rescuing me makes him so happy" I love this line so much because it shows that the reason Aziraphale doesn't stand up for himself is not because he can't, but because he wants Crowley to be able to play damsel in distress with him, since it makes him so happy.

i was super stoned when i watching this season for the first time so most of it felt like a strange fever dream with the magic show and zombie nazis and exploding halo and the scene where crowley turns into alice in wonderful (shrinks really small then growing huge) and the jane austen style dancing scene etc i truly was like wtf is happening but i enjoyed the absurdity of it all mostly. i wish there had been a mature conversation between arizaphale and crowley about their feelings for each other, looking forward to that most in season 3!

you know what hurts even more about the end of season two is the fact that they fully set up the image in out heads of what would happen if the Metatron had not interfered we have Crowley saying exactly what he plans we know he planed on confessing we have the end of season one two know exactly what it would look like we almost had it and then it was shattered and now we have to wait for season three I love it so much but I hate the wait

I think he's like a toddler. Or maybe a 5-year-old. Almost EVERYTHING is new to him (like not knowing the word "author") and he doesn't know to be scared of new & different things. A little kid would probably stare openly at Crowley's eyes, be intrigued, and maybe ask openly about them, but they wouldn't necessarily be scared (which is what I take freaked out to mean).
