Here is some insight...My 99 year old Mother sleeps 12 hours a night. Growing up she took daily naps and as a little girl she slept in until noon on weekends. Kids would come over to play and her mother told them she was still sleeping. I think she has a lot of melatonin in her brain and this protect her from disease. Had flu 3 x in her life... I catch it yearly!! She has an incredible immune system. She had covid in January and did well. Was in hospital..got antiviral meds. I did worse from covid... But started NMN and Transreservatol after being ill 6 weeks..brain fog, fatigue. This stuff saved my life...started feeling better in 3 days after starting it. Boosted me up!!

I agree wholeheartedly with the protocols uou are discussing. And the NIH’s research with Melatonin is astounding. It’s FAR more than a nutrient to reset sleep patterns. It’s looking like a super antioxidant like the world has never seen. It is restoring kidney function after kidneys are completely shot and death is expected momentarily - in rats. It looks like whatever has gone wrong in the body it’s fixing. They are using VERY large amounts & are injecting it. (Just research / don’t try this until human studies are done which will be awhile) So what you’re talking about makes sense to me. Thanks.

I supplement with M&Ms and all I get is a little fatter. I should switch to NMN. Your mom has the ticket. I sleep 8-9 during the work week and longer on the weekend. Nothing like a good night sleep (after the kids have grown up).

Sinclair. I listen closely to him. I have been integrating all these protocols I can find - hard science, not anecdotes - since I was 25 and in a big way, My first taste of this was when Durk Pearson & Sandy Shaw wrote Life Extension in 1982 I think. I am now 64. Now we have Sinclair. No one and I mean no one guesses me to be older than mid 40s, tops. The status of the skin is a very good barometer of organ health. I have just started law school and I need to be healthy to do things I have planned. A lot of young people imagine themselves to be sort of a different person when they are 60, 70+ because if how we observe our parents and grandparents age. It’s usually not pretty in lots of ways

You will feel about things jyst as you do now. You will want the same things then as you do now. Not having a body that can support what’s in your mind is one reason why so many older people suffer in depression. I made up my mind that a nursing home in my future was not in my cards. It’s my understanding that we are not meant to decline into long illnesses and debilitation begore we die but are meant to be pretty high functioning, in general, up to our deaths. We’re biologically programmed to keel over pretty quickly without debilitation or suffering, in general. I am confident I will make that happen. Try ADDING things to your diet rather than feeling miserable about eliminating things, to start with. Get exercise and think Resveratrol - as the first thing to add. This is only my opinion but it’s based upon hard science. I have sleep isdues though, and that’s what pulled me in. Thanks for this interview. Appreciate it!! 🙋‍♀️♥️

Rock Forester Can you please write out your supplement type, dose, timing routine, along with your exercise, nutrition and lifestyle habits. I’m so interested to know more about you. I’ve only been following Dr Sinclair’s protocol for a few months, along with several years of nutrition and lifestyle hacks, along with a few of my own, and the greatest improvement I’m seeing is with sleep quality and duration, which I’m in the process of tweaking. All the latest studies recommend taking NMN and Resveratrol in the evening, after 6pm, after dark, for improved sleep, yet Sinclair contradicts this, recommending it in the morning, so I’m experimenting with my own timing. If you use a sleep tracker, I’m curious to know if your sleep quality is better when you take NMN & Resveratrol in the morning, or at night.

I want to find out how to get proper sleep for at least one night. I tried CBD oil at 47 milligrams for a couple nights and I think it helped a little but I still took a long time to sleep, was up multiple times and woke up too early and couldn't get back to sleep. I'm thinking of trying a higher dose. I also used 3 grams of glycine, 500 milligrams of magnesium and 3 milligrams of melatonin but I was awake most of the night feeling jittery.

He just said he slept for 4 hours. I am not even 30 and 4 hours of sleep wrecks me, so if he is able to function somewhat then his hacks are probably helping.
